Harris was actually a guy on our short list of players that we were solid on taking with our original 66th pick that we traded away to get much better depth. Fury and I had our fingers cross that someone on that list would have dropped and Harris did.

Harris had an offseason last year due largely to injury but he was an absolute stud the year before for the Nets. We expect him to return to that true form. Having a primary stud like Carmelo who can make shots from anywhere on the floor and an athletic big in Adridge, the Heat's style will better fit Harris speed and he will have A LOT more weapons/options than he did with the Nets. Brook Lopez's half court game really didn't fit Harris' full court skills. With Anthony and Aldridge, and we'll look to add complimentary peices with your many upcoming picks in the next several rounds and make the Heat a top team.
