Damn you coolio, JJ was on my draft list.

Well, for my next pick, I'm selecting the lovely Candace Parker. She's the wife of NBA bust Shelden Williams.

Coolio, Sam Young is a good player, as a matter of fact he's one of the top 3 of the 2009 pick category. W. Mathews and Budinger are already gone the only other really good player to choose would be D. Blair and he's got the knees of a 69 year old retired football player. And Young would probably be the best of that category if he didn't play behind Rudy Gay, who I also selected.

Sanders >>>>>>>>>>>> Favors as far as a defensive C and a guy who is ready to contribute next season.

Did you see Favors in SL? Kid was a mess.

Candace Parker is an excellent pick, wish I would've thought of that. She could actually make your rotation.

lol @ coolio, you rag on luke ridnour then turn around and draft jj redick. thats pretty funny. ridnour was amazingly efficient last season at pg. he is certainly on the same level as jj redick.

and your team doesnt scare me. favors as a starting center in the playoffs gets worked. swiss cheese defense at guards and bench. garnett is impressive in name only. my front of yao, west, noah, blatche and mcdyess line beats yours into submission while tony parker and monta ellis run circles around devin harris. and nobody can outshoot ray allen. you hear me jj. NOBODY!!!

Amcoolio, my team is clearly better than your team, my point guards are better than yours, Joe Johnson is better than Earl Smith III but my SF's are better, Rudy Gay isn't even in his prime yet and he should be a All star soon while Pierce and Hedo are on the tail end of there careers. Garnett's numbers and skills are steadily declining also while I have the young studs which includes the upcoming rookie of the year Blake the phenom Griffin. And you have Favors and Murphy as your centers when neither of them are centers while I have the best pure big man in the draft with Cousins and the best perimeter shooting big man betweeen the two teams in Bargnani. Don't forget the most dominating player on the court between the two teams is D. Rose, then you back him up with Rodney Stuckey, I'll give your veteran team all kinds of problems.

PG: Rose - R. Stuckey
SG: J.R Smith
SF: Gay - G. Hill - S. Young
PF: Jason Thompson - B. Griffin - Villanueva
C: Cousins - Bargnani

PG: Devin Harris / Darren Collison
SG: Joe Johnson / JJ Redick
SF: Paul Pierce / Hedo Turkoglu
PF: Kevin Garnett / Paul Millsap
C: Derrick Favors / Troy Murphy

Your team is untested in the playoffs. The exercise is to draft a team to win the chip this season.

Lets be real, if that team faced my team in the playoffs, they'd lose in 4 games. This was a draft to determine a championship for this season (except for Walt, who likes to have fun and draft a "fun" team), and mine would wipe the floor. Did you see how far the Celtics got this season? I have possibly 3 of the next best 5 players besides the excluded list (Dirk and Deron being the others) I have no idea why they lasted to my picks, its not my fault

Untested in the playoffs? Derrick Rose has been to the playoffs both his first and second year and he scored 36 points had 11 assists and 4 rebounds in his playoff debut against some guy named Rondo. Rodney Stuckey has played in the playoffs and he played so well he took Billups job. J.R Smith and Grant Hill have played and performed well in the playoffs, and Bargnani played last year in the playoffs. How do you determine who would win the chip anyways? I just tried to pick the best players available per the categories listed in order to assemble the best team, and in my humbly modest opinion I think I'm blowin' you suckers out the water! 8-)

Am, you don't have the Celtics, and you don't even have the Celtic who played the best in the playoffs. Rondo was a beast in the playoffs, without him the Celtics don't beat Cleveland, or Orlando.

@ ballteacher - you have the sacramento kings frontline as your starters. nuff said. jason thompson would be the 6th best big man on my roster. holla.

even with griffin coming off major knee surgery he should be starting over thompson.

yes, the **** talking has begun!!!!
