I'm not sure if you guys know this -- I didn't until a month ago -- but the reason nobody wanted Collins was because he weighed 250 lbs at the pre-draft camp as a 5'10" guy...just the fact that he weighed that much showed he doesn't really care about his body and considering his height...he's probably going to be heavy his entire life.

You'd expect if Collins does stay on the team that he goes immediately to the back of the bench, I just believe we shouldn't be surprised if he gives DJ a run for his money. This off season is really make or break one for DJ. The fact that he could possibly lose out on the starting job to Livingston could negatively impact DJ's psyche if he's weak minded. If he loses out to Livingston and he gets down on himself then Collins who's no doubt gonna be hungry for a gig goes hard at DJ for that back up job, it could get real bad real quickly for him, and I hope that isn't the case. I do think a healthy Livingston will beat DJ for the starting job, I think that size, passing ability, and court presence may be too much for DJ to handle. Livingston and Collins are both from Illinois also, and Illinois produces tough players, DJ is going to have to be focused, determined, and on top of his game and he can do it because he has the experience with Brown, he knows what coach likes, he just has to take his game to the next level.

My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

It's official, ball does lie will be required to bring authentic reports to substantiate any claims made before I believe him. :nonono:

Guys, I apologize for the false statement. I remember reading it on RealGM days before I registered. I'll try to back up my claims with actual sources now. My apologies...

I agree. But I think the first half of the season will be make or break too. I think if DJ doesn't produce the performance Brown will like to have, than he will be shiped with Diaw, with Dampier or with Mohammed for a good pg (not for an all star one, but for a good one, like Baron Davis)

I was just teasing with you, however I think for the fun of it I will probably bother you when you come across some info that's unfamiliar to me. Just know, it's not personal......well it is, but not serious! that's a no homo wink too!

I think the beginning of the season will be big for DJ too, I actually think going into the training camp that the starting spot is DJ's to lose. If another guard gets the job, he must have really impressed in the pre season workouts. Another thing is, if DJ won't start, I think the best thing to do would be to trade him asap before he loses any more marketablity, meaning, if he loses his job and get's benched now, you may not be able to get much for him. So if there's any signs that Livingston is gonna be the starter I think it would be wise to get trade him asap.
