Good to see the guy will retire a Packer, all class all the way, great rags to riches story.

I still have no clue why people want another WR so bad.

Jordy Nelson and James Jones are not great players, but they are guys who have the talent to be a good no. 2/no. 3 combination. Jennings is a legit no. 1 and we have one of the best pass catching TEs in the league.

Obviously Driver can still be productive for a couple of seasons in the NFL.

You win in the NFL by protecting your QB, getting after the opposing QB and stuffing the run. We have continued to try and address those needs by drafting Raji, Matthews and Bulaga in the first round. One of those guys is already a star (Matthews), Raji could still be a very good/pro bowl NT (he has the talent) and our tackles are both old, so we need Bulaga to be solid.

Jennings deal also goes through 2012 and he's not a lock to stay.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A friend of mine refers to Driver as Mr Packer. That could be one of the most appropriate nicknames I've heard. Congrats Donald and I hope he reaches his goal of playing to 40.

I do think that if Driver wants to play until or close to 40 he's going to have to learn to accept a reduced role at some point. Eventually somebody younger is going to need to step into his starting spot.

It has nothing to do with what TT and the team want to do and everything with what Jennings wants to do.

Anyway, after thinking back to those days I wondered what ever happened to Lee and it turns out he's prison.

That sucks, but at least that wiki is pretty funny.

Indeed.

Happy for Driver, and happy for me I'll never have to watch DD suit up for another team. Not only a great player, but a great inspiration. He's representative of everything a football team should want to be.
