What is the Vegas o/u for Miami?

Last year's Nets are arguably better than this year's Raptors. Better PG, better C, similar wings.

Its gonna be a long year waiting for the draft, and leading into the lockout. Make that its a gonna be a long 2 years.

This place is insufferable.

Plus some of those teams have improved while the Raps have regressed.

Raps went
4-0 vs Knicks - not likely to happen
4-0 vs Nets - could happen again
4-0 vs. Pistons - could happen again
2-0 vs TWolves - could happen again
2-0 vs Clips - not likely
2-0 vs Hornets - could happen again
3-1 vs Sixers - prob not happen

That was 23 of our wins by sweeping the dregs of the league. We also went 2-1 against Bulls and that is much more like an 0-3 this year. We have very little margin for error to even get near last years record.

34 wins would take a miracle. but much more likely is the 25-29 range. Worst case 18-21 wins.

I think 8 spot in the East could be as low as 35 or 36 wins. Those are some bad teams near the bottom. NY, TOR, CHA, PHI, IND, WAS, DET, NJ, CLE

CHA and NY should be 40 win teams I guess but they could easily go wrong.

I don't get why people want this team to do good next year like hoping we will shock the NBA. Why would you want that seriously? If we suck we get good draft picks, if we almost make the playoffs it would mean a mediocre pick and no actual progress. I would love it if we win like 20 or less games next year and get to pick first overall, as long as there isn't another "european superstar" that BC is after, entering next year.

This.

I think minimum is 14, but they'll end up with 19, mainly because they'll get some freebies once other teams unload at the trade deadline.

LLJ, you out there reading this thread? Remember our discussion following the Aldridge article?

If we can play better at home this year I think we can get to 20 wins. However talking about 40 wins is only if we move to the D-league. Now if the Bobcats trade had happened we could have been in the fight for the 8th playoff spot but it fell through so 30 is the best case for us.

Anything over 33 wins is being highly optimistic really. Can't wait for the number 1 pick and start rebuilding fully.

This team reminds me a lot of the 2nd year team...young guys full of potential.

I see a 30 win team personally...they'll keep half the games interesting I hope.

I don't see how this team wins more 30 games, we probably won't be in double figures at the all star break.

Man People, Be Easy about this.

We need to lose a lot of games for this team to grow. We need one of the PG in next years Draft to complete our team.

I hate to say this because I want to see us WIN, But it's for the best, 8-)

18wins min
