Boston has yet to respond to any league emails, nor has he gotten his roster withing league limits (12-15) players.

Boston needs to respond to the league email, waive a player (and count his salary), post a roster of 12-15 players, then the 24 hour clock will start

I waive Semih Erden.

Done, done and done.

Dallas has yet to pick someone up to get up to the roster min, plus he has not accepted the trade, plus he has yet to respond to my many emails or the league checkin email.

Trade is not approved, unless these steps are all done, sorry Utah.

guess we need to start to look for a replacement

Dallas has finally got within roster limits, but still has not responded to this posted trade? Is it still a deal guys?

Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz have come to an agreement.

Utah sends
Jarvis Hayes(1,660,000) and cash considerations for TPE

I assume this will be subtracted from the Humphries TPE,
please adjust to make that TPE now worth $1,240,000

TRADE APPROVED, please update your rosters

OK, New Orleans and Atlanta Hawks have a blockbuster trade lined up. It's a little complicated, so here goes;

1. Mo Evans - $2,500,000 to NOH for Hilton Armstrong TPE ($2.8m) (or MoPete TPE, doesn't matter)
2. Josh Powell to NOH for nothing (min salary)
3. Sylven Landesberg to NOH Bobby Brown TPE ($736k)

Takes NOH up to 15 players, Atlanta down to 12. Now for the follow up...

New Orleans Trades:

Eric Gordon $3,016,680
Brandan Wright $3,398,072
Andre Miller $7,269,264
Zydraunus Ilgauskus $1,352,181
Philadelphia 2011 1st
New Jersey 2013 1st

Total Outgoing = $15,036,197 - x1.25 + $100,000 = $18,895,246 - greater than incoming salary

Atlanta Trades:

Tim Duncan - $18,835,381

incoming is less than outgoing - the deal works.

Why for New Orleans?

Simply put, we couldn't resist the opportunity to bring Tim Duncan in. We feel he and Pau Gasol will become the most dominant front court in the NBA.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Atlanta accepts.

We had no intention of keeping Duncan and needed to improve the shooting guard position immediately so this trade takes care of both details. Our roster lacked shooters and we get a very good one in Gordon. Miller would be a premier back-up for a season, or gives us another trade asset (haven't decided yet), and I love picks. I just like Wright. I watched him beat up on upperclassmen as he went on to become one of the best ACC frosh in recent memory and I strongly believe he can become a valuable contributer off the bench if he stays healthy.

The Raptors and Magic have come to an agreement:

Andrei Kirilenko $17,823,000
Al-Farouq Aminu $2,563,320
for
Ed Davis $1,999,250
Vince Carter $17,522,375

Salaries are extremely close, it obviously works.

Raptors accept. Kirilenko/Aminu both give the squad some much needed length. I really like Aminu moving forward and as much of an impact player as VC still is, Toronto is not the place for him. I'm really high on Ed Davis so this was hard to do, but I thought it was necessary moving forward to move VC and get a solid expiring in return which AK is and I believe Aminu is being undervalued based on Summer League.

Orlando has never really had an interest in Al-Farouq. Ed Davis, we believe, is a lock to be a 12/10 big man in this league. We love his game. VC is still a productive player, but we want to move him later.

Contingent on the Toronto/Orlando deal being approved, the Raptors and Pacers have agreed to a deal:

Greg Monroe $2,798,040
Brandon Rush $2,069,040
Solomon Jones $1,500,000
for
Hasheem Thabeet $4,793,280
Al Farouq Aminu $2,563,320

6.4 x 1.25 > 7.3

Raptors accept. High risk, high reward deal. I really like Monroe's passing ability and his skill level for a big man and that's something is missing beyond Turner on my team. Brandon Rush is more of a sure thing and is just a great fit beside any ball dominant wing player with his ability to defend and hit the three. I hate giving up my boy Thabeet in the deal, but it had to be done.

It's mildly annoying to me that Bryant managed to get Thabeet and Aminu for what he did, but whatever. I accept. Thabeet is an elite shot blocker who is still pretty new to the game of basketball. Even if his offense never improves beyond a Mutumbo level, I've got a great player. Aminu loads my SF position up, but he's imposing athlete with a high ceiling.

New Orleans and Washington have agreed a deal. To streamline things we will include Detroit in the deal. This is contingent to the Duncan trade being approved.

New Orleans sends:

PF - Antonio McDyess - $4,860,000
SF: Mo Evans - $2,500,000

for

PG - Beno Udrih - $6,478,600

Washington sends:

PG - Beno Udrih - $6,478,600

for

C - Johan Petro - $3,250,000
PF - Kris Humphries - $3,200,000
SF - Mo Evans - $2,500,000
Houston 2012 2nd (via Detroit)

(works as Wiz have the capspace)

Detroit sends:

C - Johan Petro - $3,250,000
PF - Kris Humphries - $3,200,000
Houston 2012 2nd

for

PF - Antonio McDyess - $4,860,000

= the deal works.

Why for New Orleans?

We simply balance off the roster. Udrih is tied down until 2013, but he was a productive player, averaging an efficient 12/5 in 33 minutes. He'll be a good backup behind Tony Parker and has good range.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Make sure that your trade partners are up to date before posting or it will get canceled.

Washington has a few things on roster page in need of fixing including the lack of McDyess on his roster.
