LA Clippers - NewJerzeyKnick is on the clock......I hope this one won't be a while. Afterall, this guy missed his 1st pick (2nd overall) of the draft.

@ Moocow... I LOVE the Caron Butler selection, absolute steal... but I don't see it as a great fit. Who's going to knock down the 3 ball on your roster, assuming you don't draft a shooting 5.

A "Leave Your Heart on the Court" kind of guy, we're so pleased to have thus glue to our Championship Team fall into our laps. He can not only dish the ball with ease ala Nash, but he can hit the Clutch Shot, is $$$ from the Free Throw Line, and is deadly from DownTown. He will look awesome running the FastBreak with Lebron, David West, and Emeka Okafur.

Welcome to the NY Knicks The International Sensation! :D

Did you really compare him to steve Nash?

Just wondering... In BAT 3.0, when did we change the time limit?

Comparing Calderon's passing game to Nash's is of course an exercise in relativity; Nash is the better distributor, but Calderon's court vision and passing mechanisms seem to be molded from the same model as Nash's. When Nash really started to get the spotlight as an assist master, a few years back, Calderon always seemed like a Nash Jr to me.

I assume you mean when it gets shorter from the earlier Round, right? If so:

Round 6. This BAT it's Round 5.

I said he can Dish the ball with ease, like Nash. Calderon averages around an 8 APG to 1.5 TPG Ratio over a few Years. So let's not act so surprised.

As Mik' said above, Nash only became Nash after he left Dallas, and Calderon's flashy style of play has drawn Nash-lite comparisons MANY times.

Alongside Lebron, Calderon's job becomes 100x easier.

3 point shooting was not a big part of LAs offense either. Plus, Melo is solid anyway.

Anyone that's get passed him will have their shot swatted into the 2nd Row Bleachers by Lebron on the Trail or Emeka in the post. :P

Well.... the thing is...

Rubio - Never played in the NBA before.
Yao - Injured till the break, and might have to retire.

No offense 2010, but I still don't believe Rubio should be considered as part of your Starting Lineup. Sure, he was eligible to be drafted...but the guy isn't going to step foot into this league for at least another year, if ever. When we talked about the addition of international prospects who have their rights held by NBA teams, we spoke of being able to draft them as ASSETS to the franchise...much like they are today. And should be judged as just that...an asset.

If it wasn't the case...Rubio would have been selected much earlier than the mid-3rd pick you drafted him with. I can assure you he would have at least been mine at 25, let alone my 52nd.
