dash4, you have Happy Hairston year wrong (93-94), I think that might hurt my chances, as he was long retired by then

With the 7th pick in the 3rd round, 17 24 16 selects...
Lucius Allen
1974-1975

19.5 Pts/G
5.7 As/G
4.4 Reb/G
2.2 St/G

Can play the off guard with Jerry West as well as guard 1s. Came over from the Bucks after winning a Championship with Kareem & Oscar

It's all good, It helped seal my choice. I was torn between Elmore and Lucius Allen anyway.

So what you're saying is... He's above average.

It was higher than anybody on the Lakers this post-season but Kobe and Pau (Unless you count Ammo... And you NEVER count Ammo :P )... 2pts higher than Odom who played roughly the same minutes... Just saying...

And I need a SG... It seems like good SG's are getting harder and harder to find. And I have NVE and Kap so all I really care about is a spot up shooter with a high percentage and decent PPG...

He averaged 18 on a team with Bailor and West... Not too shabby...

Not to mention 3 pts higher than Divac's playoff PER of 14.7 in 94-95. j-far's 2nd round pick.

TBF he did go against the admiral in his prime I guess.

Oh crap! Ankle Ceballos is taken, change your pick.

I even made Lakers_1981's pick in a hurry so you can't pick that player.

He was my third pick after Vern and Elmore. Someone else is doing some research :P.

IDK what PER you're talking about, but if you mean PPG, there are enough players in Lakers history for almost all of us to build a team of 9-10, 10 PPG players.

I thought sure Lucius was going to fall to the later rounds for my back up PG

G=K, I almost picked Elmore Smith instead of Barnett... Had to delete the reply about 4 times. He was just so hard to pass up so late.

Good Pick!

i'm going with power forward, 17ppg, 10rpg, 47 fg%

61-62 Rudy LaRusso

Rudy LaRusso was a five-time NBA all-star who three times helped the Lakers reach the NBA Finals in the early 1960s.

One of the league's original power forwards, the 6-foot-7, 220-pound LaRusso averaged 15.6 points and 9.4 rebounds in 10 NBA seasons. For nearly eight seasons, his strength and defensive prowess provided the perfect complement to Elgin Baylor's gravity-defying acrobatics in the Lakers' starting frontcourt.
