I didn't see the play but how do you dislocate a toe when it's in a shoe?

Edit: Nvm, I watched the play. Tough luck, but I'm pretty sure it's better that it's only a dislocation.

If Wells is out for a while, this certainly frees up the whole "7 man rotation" thing that the Jays had since recalling Snider.

Snider at LF, Lewis at CF, and Bautista at RF. Simple.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

He's day to day, so don't expect any big lineup shuffles in the long run

A second X-ray has confirmed that Vernon Wells suffered a dislocated right big toe — and no fracture — after he crashed into the outfield wall making a catch on Sunday.

The Toronto Blue Jays centre fielder is listed as “day-to-day.” It is unknown whether he will be ready to play when the Jays open a series against the Boston Red Sox at the Rogers Centre on Tuesday night.

If Wells' out I would like to see the following lineup:

CF - Lewis
1B - Overbay
SS - Escobar
LF - Bautista
C - Arencibia
2B - Hill
DH - Lind
3B - Encarnacion
RF - Snider

When Wells and Buck are back,
SS - Escobar
1B - Overbay
CF - Wells
3B - Bautista
C/DH - Arencebia/Buck
2B - Hill
LF - Lind
DH/C - Buck/Arencebia
RF - Snider
