Join the fight to save the Nets

Hey everyone after reading the posts it seems we are all against the name change. So I went about creating a group on FB to fight against the name change. Please join the fight and if we can get enough support we hopefully can change Proky's mind.

The group name is "Don't change the Nets name" genius I know. Feel free to post pics sporting your Nets gear and post your rants there as well

Well this is our only chance so lets hope it works.

Mods you can lock if you like this but I just needed to make sure everyone saw this so it's doesn't get lost in normal posts.

I know most here aren't Nets fans but I'm here asking for some help. We have a group on FB "Don't change the Nets name" and even if you're fans or not please join and help us out. Recent news has Prokorov changing the Nets name when they go to Brooklyn and most if not all of us are against this and want to keep the Nets name. It's one little click and thats it, maybe it could make a difference for us.

Come'on Knicks fans this rivalry is going to be to good in the future. I'd rather it be Nets/Kincks like the good old days. 90's was you guys, the turn of the century was us, now lets see what the future holds but at least lets keep it Nets/Knicks

I still believe the "name change" Prokhorov referenced was in regards to "Brooklyn" or "New York". Hopefully we keep the "Nets" name because frankly, it would hurt a little if I had to tell people I was rooting for the Brooklyn somethings? I love my Nets.

Thanks to everyone who joined.

Did anyone catch the post of Netsdaily. I think we got their attention at least. They issued a response saying that nothing has been decided yet and that they needed to file the name change if they were going to go to Brooklyn or NY Nets. I really hope thats the only change they make.

Hopefully we can at least show them that we have some true diehard fans that respect the Nets name and want to attach a winning tradition to the Nets name and not just give up on it.
