Upcoming Visits To Green Bay

Post#1 » by Balls2TheWalls » Wed Mar 5, 2008 7:02 pm

Corey Smith, DE, and Brandon Chillar, OLB, are scheduled to be in Green Bay Wednesday.

Players expected to visit in the near future are Brendon Ayanbadejo, OLB, Quinn Gray, QB, Kris Wilson, TE, and Boss Bailey, OLB.

To add my personal interests. I would love to add Chillar, Wilson, and Ayanbadejo. I think that Chillar is the most likely linebacker to bounce Poppinga.

We definitely need more depth at LB. Chillar or Bailey would be fine, make it a real competition with Poppy.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

stay away from Chillar, he is already quoted saying "it's all about the financials"
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

I like Gray as a veteran backup, he's nothing special but should be cheap and is able

Free agent LB Brendon Ayanbadejo has narrowed his possible destinations to the Jets and Ravens. He'd been offered four-year deals by both clubs.
He'll sign Thursday. He'd have a slightly better chance of playing defense in New York as an inside linebacker, though it'd only be as a reserve.

Ayanbadejo won't be coming to Green Bay so everyone can cross him off the list.

I'd love if we signed Gray. I was very impressed by his poise. I think he'd fit in well in our offense and that McCarthy could get a lot out of him.

I think Gray is a much better option than Brunell, Dilfer, Culpepper, Nall and all of the other names that have been brought up
