Also Maciej Lampe played in a summer league game for the CAvs this year and I was sort of impressed. He was in much better shape and more mobile than I remember in his first go around. Seemed to me like he could stick in the right situation

Every player who is playing for coach Obradovic, has 2 options. Be great or be lost. Well looks like that Calathes and Tepic are the recent bets of him. I guess that we will not miss Papaloukas at all after all...

Good job Greece, but why is Calathes playing on the Greek National Team?

Um, because hes Greek. Sometimes the answers are that easy. lol His real last name would be pronounced something like Kala-thees

Just watched the first half of Spain - Slovenia, and it was quite incredible how Rubio managed to look pretty good despite his stats being probably 0 across the board.
Basically every great pass he delivered, the bigmen fumbled or got fouled.

And I have to say, he certainly did not look slow but passed slovenian guards several times.
The offensive defense didn't really pay off this halftime though and lead to some holes in the defense when beaten.

The spanish team has plenty of strong players btw, that is a real force even without Pau Gasol.

The kid gambles to much on defense in this game, playing that offensively he obviously will get burned.
Probably can afford it due to this being a friendy.

Not really. Nick Calathes isn't even a Greek name. Nikos Kalathis is a Greek name. Nick Calathes is just an Americanized version of the name Nikos Kalathis. Kalathis would be the actual name of his family, not "Calathes".

"Calathes" is just a made up name to get a US passport.

It's the grand opening of a new arena, Spaniards aren't allowed to win tonight.

Rudy might be a punk too, he likes to get to other players ears a lot, but Dragic is a punk no matter what Rudy be.

Refs are bad tonight, but our game (Im spaniard) has been awful, probably the worst game of Spain I have ever watched in the last two years.

Yeah, Spains game isn't working that well, but this would be the 5th game or so in about 10 days so it is just natural to not play great in every testmatch.

Spain is playing horrible but Marc Gasol is on fire, omg, the poster and the two fadeaways were sweet.

I'm telling you, refs were instructed not to let Spain win tonight so that it wouldn't spoil the opening of arena. It's just that Spain is so much better than Slovenia that they're winning even if they don't try.
