Suns Board Build-a-Team Discussion Thread
Okay now we can use the other thread to make picks/explanations and this thread to discuss in general.
Risensun has picked KD with the first pick, so Wizards are up!

Passing on Lebron at #1 is debatable. Passing on Lebron at #2 is not.

Also, how the hell does Dwyane Wade not go in your top 5? Stupid Knicks fans.
Question on the grading: How much should injury concern matter? Should there be a whole other negative section? like -15 points for having only players who get injured?

I prefer Durant because I feel already at 21 he's much better then Lebron was at his age and in my eyes overall their equal now. Great pic though, I was really torn between the two. You can't go wrong with either though.
This is gonna be fun. Nets on the clock

Same for Durant. Passing on him at #2 is not debatable. Now the real debate begins.

Takes courage to pass on LeBron at #1. Good move though. LeBRon's stats will probably go down as he is on a star studded team. Who do you reckon will be selected at #3?

I took that into account but with him being the primary ball handler on a star studded team without being doubled i think 30/8/11 isn't outta the question. He put up 30/7/9 last season with zero help. I agree with JVG that Heat team will be absolutely unstoppable.

With age being a factor i can see Dwight going before Kobe/Wade. We'll see.

Hmm. I would also consider taking a good point guard at a high pick. Someone like Deron, CP3, Wall, or even Rose could be taken somewhere in the Top Ten.
P.S Does anyone want to trade with me for higher picks? I'm willing to give up a large quantity of picks in order to gain higher picks. 3 for 1 trades are not out of the question for me!

Injury concerns may have hurt his value but i could see CP3 going 3rd.

CP3 doesnt go before Deron, Wade or Kobe in my opinion.

A good point guard will increase other player's stats. I personally would take a good point guard over a good scorer as a foundation for my team.

Re: Suns Board Build-a-Team Discussion Thread
I was really hoping Durant or Lebron would fall to me, but that was wishful thinking. The 3rd pick was really hard to choose, it was between Wade, Kobe, Howard. I went with Howard because of age, centers are really hard to find, and I believe he makes 8 million less per year than Kobe. Now the wait begins until my 2nd round pick.

Um, I'm pretty sure stats have nothing to do with this. Its not a fantasy league, more of a 2K10 re-draft. So... the team there presently on doesn't matter.

If Kobe falls outta the top 5 someone will get a massive steal. I probably would've taken him 3rd since ring points are the highest percentage.

i doubt he does, the only reasons I chose Wade was because he is younger and on a better contract. I also figured talent wise it there wasnt enough of a difference between the two. He's for sure going to the Blazers, if not, sd1306 needs to get his head checked.
