Granger Injured At Team USA Practice

When you see this as a headline you think "oh geez we may never catch a break"...I was pleasantly happy to see it was just a finger injury, although those can sit you at for awhile, as with Shaq and his thumb last year...I do suspect this will make it very hard for him to make the cut.

Well who's surprised by this? The pacers have another set back. We're not sure how significant the injury is but it's a suspected dislocation.
This could be a blessing in disguise in that it allows DG to rest, heal all his other injuries and be ready for start of Pacers camp.
On the other hand I would loved to have seen him in a USA uniform, gaining invaluable experience and developing his leadership when he comes back to the pacers.

I guess we hope this injury is only minor, but from experience finger injuries can take a long long long time to heal

He will be fine in no time! He's always been a quick healer! Dont forget that game against the Celtics, he knocked out a tooth and kept playing

though injuries are never good, i'm thankful it's just a finger. and thank heavens its not a fracture.

Relax, he was just making a lighthearted, it-could-be-worse, comparison. Don't think he meant any malice.

Anyways, too bad about that injury. At least it's just a finger, probably no long term repercussions.

Silver lining, Granger missing a few games with a non-serious injury gives Paul George and Lance Stephenson a chance to show what they've got.

christomasson If Danny Granger was on the bubble for Team USA, he's not anymore. He had 22 points and five rebounds in 18 minutes in scrimmage vs. China.
