Kelenna Azubuike

D'Antoni is going to find minutes for Kelenna. He rebounds better than Walker and NY is going to need that given their bigs. I expect Kelenna to finish top 70 on a per game basis, and top 90 on cumulative, with a nice mix of everything but assists.

And with GSW fan hamncheese up next I had to take Special K on this side of the turn.

Final picks, #150 and 151:

Francisico Garcia and Luke Ridnour

Garcia's freak injury derailed his entire season last year and he only played in 25 games. Before that, he ranked in the top 100 for two consectuive years because of his multi-cat contributions. He has the abitlity to average 1+ in each of threes, steals, and blocks per game to go with low turnovers and good percentages. He's likely the starting the SG in Sacramento.

My roster only had 2 point guards in Felton and Hill, so Ridnour makes it a 3rd. Ridnour might have a nice start to the season with Flynn coming back from hip surgery. Nothing spectacular with Ridnour, he's a decent backup, and in a starting role could get 5-6 assists per game to go along with a steal and a three. He had a career year in fg% and while a repeat would be nice, I'm going to think it was more a fluke for Luke.

Taj Gibson

Boozer is going down after 35 games. That's my plan for success. I may have to pay Booz a little "visit" just to be sure.

More seriously, the Bulls are pretty thin up front. Kurt Thomas doesn't really count anymore. Taj should see plenty of minutes even if Boozer lasts all year. Which he won't. I was looking for some cheap blocks that wouldn't hurt me much elsewhere, and Taj was it.

I knew I should have sent a list.

RUDY FERNANDEZ

Here is hoping for a trade.
Horrible FG%, and no minutes on a stacked team.
But, he is super talented. And if you look at any situations where he does get 25mpg all his numbers and %'s go up very nicely.

Brandon Rush - Good all over the board numbers. Huge under-performer. Let's see where Bird's faith takes him.

Edit: Copy/pasted the wrong expl/pick, hope that's ok.

Josh Childress

There's a lot of guys I wanted at this position, but I painted myself into a corner, with so few guards, and virtually no shooting guards, so I needed a guy who could fill that SG spot.

On the bright side, Josh fits nicely on my team. He's a high FG% shooter, and with Nash, he'll only get better. He also rebounds quite well, and outside of Robin Lopez, I can't see anyone else on that team rebounding as well as Childress does. He's also an underrated block and steal guy, and getting a guy who can block from the SG spot is critical, IMO. Let's hope he improved his FT%.

And with that...I'm done. Nice draft gents...good commentary, good write-ups, now wake me when I've won (again). :)

Jamario Moon

I'm sort of wishing this draft went another round or two, because there are about 8 more guys on my list and I only get to pick one.

I need to address FG%, 3's, and upside. Most guys who rain three's don't have upside and/or kill my already wavering FG%, so I need to go efficiency coupled with someone who should average plenty of minutes. Moon is that guy. He's been on my list for about 4 rounds. I'm not expecting LeBron, but he is penciled in to start at SF, and I think coach Scott will like Moon's defence and play him at least 20-25 minutes. If he gets minutes, he can get me solid %, a three, a steal, and a block a game. I was in need of some more efficiency players, and I felt he was my best bet. Good luck everyone!

And the final pick goes to.....

Shane Battier

There were a lot of other choices that I considered at this point. But I felt Battier was the safest one to go with. With the recent trade of Ariza, this translates to increase play time for Shane. He has been the ultimate fantasy "glue guy" for so many years. In a roto league, I don't think I can go wrong with picking him at this point.

Hi guys, sorry to bother, but we're looking for a replacement manager in a 17 dynasty league (roto, 9 cats, keep all players). Curtis Lemansky, last year's Champ/this year's #2 is retiring and we're looking for a dedicated manager who will be able to somewhat replace Curtis' managing skills...
