I have a question for anyone in the know. Is there a way to access the forums on realgm mobile? Because I haven't been able to find out how to do so on my cell phone.

Well hate to break it to you, but 99.99% of the people on this board are basing their thoughts on a few youtube videos.... That comes along with drafting Rubio, and in those systems, he hasn't excelled, probably because of the system that he's in.

People aren't going to think of Yao as the All-NBA Center that was once a dominate force... they're looking at the 7'5 Center that has missed the last season 1/2 and has glass knees, and has considered retirement. It's a risk.

Putting Beasley/Speights as your starting front court doesn't put your teams talent anywhere near the Suns.

You drafted 2 risky value picks in Rubio/Yao.... you have to realize that it's going to have to come with risks and faults...

Now... on to my team. :P (Arenas is my 6th man.)

Hey, I can play that game too. "Arenas will destory your team chemistry. This guy threatened to shoot his teammate for Christs' sakes! The guy has arguably the worst contract in the league and he is still fresh off two major knee surgeries. To top it all off, he has a big mouth and blogs too much the the mind of an immature ADD diagnosed oaf."

It seems like you really can't take criticism very well if at all... simmer down. If you're going to ask for constructive criticism, you're going to get it. What did you expect?

Now with that said was anything I said regarding Arenas untrue?

I think you have done a very good job. I dont think that the last two picks (Beasley or Speights) were great (since Ty Thomas was available before beasley) but but otherwise your team looks good. Lots of value and guys that can really have good years. Lots of long range shooting and a real leader in Ricky. Yao, even though he doesnt fit is very valuable. He is a huge expiring and a cash cow even if he isnt going to play a minute. I think overall your team is somewhere in the middle for now and in the future. Still lots of value in your picks and thats what you have to do in the draft.

How hard is it to find an impact player at Rubio's position? (we should know as Knicks fans how easy it is to find swingmen vs PGs).

For the record, I didn't ask "people" for their opinion. I asked the "experts" of this board for theirs. A 16 year old working as an intern for his mommy as a handout who lied that they were going thru some crisis to dump their team only to "join forces" with their butt-buddy peer does not qualify as an expert on BAT matters. I'm so glad you care so much about my personal life! I didn't fake a crisis. It wasn't even a crisis. I had some things going on in my family and I thought I'd be moving out and I didn't want to hold it up. I mean, if you care so much I might as well give you the inside scoop.

I did infact trade Ray Allen b/c he was criticized. But the thing is, the participants are the judges. You gotta please the people who give you criticism, that's how you win this thing. Funny.. I'm getting called insecure while you need assurance from others that you did a good job on a forum game. EVERYBODY is saying the same things, and yet you still argue.

Play the age card all you want. I may be 16, but I'm sure as hell acting more mature than you.

Whether the participants are judges or not, stand by the picks that you make regardless of what anyone else thinks. Defend your team with your own vision and analysis. If someone disputes your vision try to make them see your point of view and find holes in their argument and attempt to prove them false. Don't just cave in and make trades based on what the "media" thinks. Are you a phuccin man or a mouse? Oh yeah, I forgot *~*16*~*

If mature is making decisions based on what everyone else thinks and then abandoning your team and quitting by pulling a Lebron, and "joining forces" with another loser (the boards equivlanet to Bosh) then yeah, I guess you are mature then.

Thanks! Just to give you my reasoning, I picked Beasley over Ty Thomas because I wanted a 6th man who could provide instant offense off the bench. Ty is a great defender but he still hasn't found a niche offensively. I'm figuring I can get a one-dimensional shotblocker in the later rounds to fill the void I am lacking in passing up on Ty. One thing I did miss out on by passing on Ty was his elite athleticism but I'll take Beasley's ability to score in a variety of ways. Thanks again...

It was a basketball conversation. Then 2010 got butt-hurt because not everybody was getting a woody over his squad, which isn't even bad. He has nothing to defend.

But seriously knicksfan5494, I dont respect your decision to drop out only to become an assistant gm. I mean if you needed help I couldve even been your assistant. You left the team in a pretty eh position.

Also you cannot say that the point is to win and thats why you traded Ray Allen, because if the point is to win, you shouldve never drafted Ray Allen.

But of course I do not know the whole story but this is what I am hearing. Im only judging this on these few pages.

Return to New York Knicks
