style wise Mills would be it, but he does not fit our vet request. but Ridnour is the vet so take a chance on Patty.

Anthony Johnson is an ex-player, though maybe he hasn't realized it yet.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

I know I've said it already, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Hart. He was here the beginning of last year too, so he at least has some experience in the offense Rambis wants to run. It also seemed like he and Flynn really connected.

Too bad Belly isn't going to be here, he could be our backup PG lol

Acie Law went to the Griz, and I think Brevin Knight retired? may just be making that second one up. I'm hoping we keep Telfair or go after Earl Watson.

Board Member #1: I've never heard of half of these guys and the ones I do know are way past their prime.

Charlie: Most of these guys never had a prime.

Board Member #2: This guy here is dead!

Rachel Phelps: Well cross him off the list then!

Telfair: Born: 6th September, 1985. He's not that old. Supposedly didn't play that bad with the Clippers. Maybe the triangle will do wonders for his career, but if it doesn't work out... I know this team doesn't like to trade, but that could be an option.

I think Patrick MIlls is the best option, he does what we need from our PG's plus at least internationally he's had some very solid games.

Someone mentioned Kyle Weaver, I wouldn't mind him as our 3rd PG either, we could sign him for a few years and he could provide dept at PG and SG for us. If I'm not mistaken, he's pretty solid defensively which could be nice next to Johnson, Love, and Beasley

Telfair's only failing is he's not found a nich offensively. He never developed a deep game like a Nash, or a dribble drive like Parker or even a solid mid range shot. He's got solid court vision, he makes good decisions, he takes care of the ball and when he's hot he can score 15-20 a game. I'd absolutely keep him as a 2nd/3rd PG if he's willing.

I posted this elsewhere, but I think it summarizes the Telfair situation:

There are a few things that need to be pointed out financially:

1. We are looking to DOWNgrade. As you can tell by looking at the list, Telfair is one of the vbest PG's available, if not the best .. though that's not saying much. However, Kahn has said from the start that we were hoping to move him for a veteran minimum player. My guess is that for team chemistry, he wants to bring in a veteran guy that can be a bit of a mentor, and won't mind picking up DNP-CD's when Flynn is back, as long as he gets to pick up a paycheck.

2. CUTTING Telfair and signing a vet min free agent would be expensive. Telfair makes $2.7 mil, which is a little over-priced, but if we cut him, we'd pay that much and also have to add a vet min salary ($854,389) to pay for the vet we added (the nba picks up the rest). Cutting Telfair locks us into $2.7 dead money, unless we can get a smaller buy-out, and the $854,389 comes out of our cap space.

3. Therefore, we should look to TRADE Telfair. Yes, he's probably not worth $2.7 mil in cap space to anyone, but for a team looking to compete, he's a better choice as a back-up PG than almost anyone else on the list. The next step is to see which teams could use Telfair as a back-up, where he'd have less negative value. If we can remove some of this salary, it makes adding a vet min guy like Earl Watson affordable enough to consider.

Why can't we just add a vet and trade/buyout Telfair when Flynn recovers?
