No resentment at all. But there are +300 Million Americans and just over +30 Million Canadians. Why would the US media talk about Canada when their market is elsewhere? Can't really expect equal time. When your teams win they get coverage.

Also know that a big portion of US media in general are based out of NY and NYers only care about NYers.

As others have said, their websites and magazines target the people who can tune in and watch their programs and purchase the products their advertisers are trying to sell to them.

A Raptors fan complaining about coverage on ESPN would be like a Columbus Blue Jackets fan logging onto a Canadian hockey site or somehow watching TSN or Hockey Night in Canada and becoming frustrated, proclaiming, "Why don't those Canadian broadcasters give us the same respect that they give the Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadians, etc!?!"

Right now on Around the Horn they were talking about the jays and the almost no hitter yesterday........but it wasn't about the jays it was about the rays and the fact that opposing teams have a 50% chance to get a no hitter....fine

I can't stand the anti-American attitude that many Canadians seem to have.

The American media doesn't care about the Raptors? Neither does the Canadian media, largely. The Raptors stink and until they don't we shouldn't expect much national coverage in either country.

And for the record, I've had pretty wonderful experiences south of the border. I've never met a single American who seemed to somehow resent Canadians -- at worst, they were completely indifferent to us.
