Yanks @ Royals avec fromage

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Fri Aug 13, 2010 12:10 pm

So what's the odds that CC Sabbathia will get 20 wins this season? He looks ready for the post season already.

Today Sugar Shane Mosley takes the mound. He's been very serviceable in spot duty while Pettitte heals. Would you keep him in the rotation when andy comes back?

After all, Vasquez's velocity is disconcerting. AJ Burnett is hot and cold.

Here's another angle, Mosley could be a good long reliever or 7th inning guy Joe could go to.

Still concerned with the Yanks offense. Very inconsistent going into the final month of the season.

to be honest, despite this teams record, i see this as a down year overall for mlb and a year to capitalize, but some of the horses have just stunk up the house (granderson, nikki, even arod, jeter, etc)

i just hope they get their act together b4 playoffs start

Throw Vasquez in the Pen, START MOSLEY

When Moseley pitched for the Yanks his last game i felt the Yankees were in control, like no bad feelings or anything.. Moseley should be our fifth starter

Yup, first time in MLB history a good team has lost to a bad team. We should be contracted.

Unprecedented. I think I'm gonna go sit in the corner and sob uncontrollably.

Not a good win by any stretch but i will take it. The offense finally woke up. Concerned about Hughes innings logged in. He looks a little tired and the number of hits is slightly disconcerting. While Hughes win totals have been impressive, last 5 starts have shown a little wear and tear.

Tomorrow AJ has to continue to rebuild his confidence.

yea, hughes didn't have any K's but he made some good pitches tonight in tight spots..

A-rod hit some moon shots.. that hip looks a lot better, he was clearing that hip and golfing that ball over the center field wall.. that last homer was ridiculous.. LOL

You could make a lot of money betting against the Yankees every time they face a pitcher they've never seen before.

Ugh. I am so disgusted. Not ONE run. That's back to back good starts by AJ that was squandered.
