Brian Tallet, Edwin Encarnacion and Vernon Wells have all cleared waivers, tweets Bob Elliott of The Toronto Sun. We'll overlook Wells since no team will take on his mammoth contract, but the other two Blue Jays could draw some trade interest.
Tallet has a bit more than $500K remaining on his contract, and has held left-handed batters to a .474 OPS this season. Minnesota just lost Jose Mijares for the next month and could be in the market for a lefty reliever. The Twins have been connected to the Jays in trade rumors about relievers ever since Joe Nathan went on the shelf during spring training. The two clubs weren't able to agree to a deal for the likes of Scott Downs or Jason Frasor, but Tallet would be available at a much lower price.
Encarnacion is a bit of a tougher sell. He has about $1.3MM left on his contract, hasn't hit much (.242/.305/.458) and has an infamously shaky third base glove. That slugging percentage might lead a team or two to make a call, but unless a contender has a sudden injury to a starting third baseman, there might not be much of a market for the 27-year-old.
That said, such an injury just occurred in Atlanta. If the Braves feel they need reinforcements to fill the Chipper Jones void, Toronto could be happy to make a trade. Moving Encarnacion would likely mean that Jose Bautista gets most of the time at third base for the Jays, thus creating more outfield playing time for Travis Snider and Fred Lewis.

Likely to be more interest in Tallet than in EE.

Re: EE clears waivers, braves might be interested..
Well if he was used as a purely situational lefty he'd probably be fine. His splits are crazy, but he owns left handed batters still.
Now I'd be inclined to move him since he's probably not going to be around much longer simply because of space issues, but at the same time, what's the point of trading him for nothing, which is all you'll likely get out of a team? To me this is where your big scouting staff can pay off, 'cause you gotta have a whole lot of info on under-the-radar types to ever make a Tallet trade pay off.
Regardless I'd probably take a bag of dicks for any of them and I'd send a bag of dicks with them to get EE or VDub out the door.

Cito's gonna be pissed to lose Tallet...
AGonzalez gonna be pissed to see EE on his right side once again...
(EE makes great sense for the Braves, imo)

It would be tough to lose Tallet right nwo considering we lost Purcey yesterday. Jesse Carlson is now back in the big leagues and he has been brutal for a while. However the bluejays still have Rommie lewis and Jo-Jo Reyes around that they can call up.

Hope we can move Edwin, but would rather have Overbay gone first.

I don't see Atlanta moving for a 3rd baseman. Prado comes back this week and they'll move him to 3rd with Infante sliding to 2nd. Their team will be even better with Infante playing everyday than the washed up Chipper.
Tallet to MIN makes sense though...

EE's stock is increasing, hopefully we can get a semi-good prospect back we can easily move bautista to 3rd and have wells, lewis, and snider in the OF

think about this, having EE on the team means less at bats for Snider. i'm just glad EE is worth something, i hope...

Re: EE clears waivers, braves might be interested..
Maybe it can be answered here.
may sound silly,
but why doesnt EE sometimes play 1st base when we are against a left hander?!

Re: EE clears waivers, braves might be interested..
from the wiretap:
hopefully they are all fighting over EE
The Giants may be trying to keep a third baseman from reaching the Cardinals and Braves through the waiver process, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.
"Heard this: There is a perception among some GMs that the Giants are trying to prevent third basemen from reaching the Cardinals or ... Braves in the waiver process -- which makes sense, because SF is competing with those teams for the playoffs," Olney wrote on his Twitter page.
San Francisco holds a .5 game lead on St. Louis for the National League Wild Card. Atlanta has a 2.5 game lead over San Francisco, but they currently lead the NL East.

Cool. Nobody in the NHL wants Kaberle, and yet MLB engages in a bidding war for EE.
AA is coming up golden.
