^^ But both of them could be, and probably are on the table, both are expendable.

I'd also be willing to see how things shake out in ATL. Horford pretty much demanded that he return to PF, and the team has already complied. Where does this leave Smith? I'd take either off their hands.
Also, there is the possibility of signing Sean Williams to a ten-day contract or something. After living in China it apparantly matured him and he is ready to play in this league again. He is better than all of our b/u bigs, and I bet you his defense is right there with JSmith. Check out some of his stats from the Chinese Bask. Ass., if you can find a link.
Note: Don't confuse Sean with Shawne.
Somehow I doubt that Dunleavy came anywhere near AK in the blocks department. Not the same ballpark, not the same town, probably not the same zip code.
Yeah, and Dunleavy has a much better offensive game. Plus he isn't a total liability on defense, having led the league in drawing charges. I know I always throw that out there, but it proves he keeps his man in front of him, and that he will not give an easy path to the basket.
Quit acting like we're talking about the AK-47 of yesteryear. lol.....

Y'all may laugh, but the Jazz sure as hell aren't dealing AK for any one on the pacers roster outside of hibbert (who I, as a Jazz fan, absolutely love) or Granger.
If we can't parlay AKs expiring into a better player with a long contract, then we'll just re-sign him for cheaper. The Jazz love AK, he had a resurgence of sorts (not 2004-05 AK, but effective at coming off the bench) and his value should be low enough to resign him for something reasonable. We don't need other marginal role players, especially not a hayward look-alike or a back-up PG (and we have CJ miles, raja bell, and our 2nd rounder at the wing already).
Good luck getting Horford. I have really wanted him for awhile for the Jazz, but y'all have a lot more money to throw at him. Your gonna have to overpay probably, but I think something near max (maybe even max, idk) is totally worth it. Synergy had him as statistically, the best post defender in the league (although Okur is 4th, so idk how much weight you can give that).

You really think Utah can re-sign AK47? You think he's interested sticking around? I'm just wondering. He seems like he hasn't really fit in Utah for years now, and that Utah has constantly gone out and gotten other PF's to play over him, or play him out of position at SF, or bring him off the bench.
Something tells me he's bound to either sign with the Nets or go overseas possibly.

Ford+Dunleavy for AK47?
Works for me. We clear a roster space for Rolle and we get a solid SF/PF/C rotation of Granger/AK47/Hibbert ( with dashes of McRoberts/Rolle at the Center spot ).
Imagine the amount of shotblocking and defense that we will have in our frontcourt. Heck, if we could get Amundson and Tyler is healthy...I'd throw in Foster to get that done.
