Reporter: Are there two players you look up to, I like his game, I like his game, I want to combine them and be my own player? Are there a couple guys in the League you want to learn from and pick apart?

Michael Beasley: I really like Carmelo’s game, big body, can step out and shoot the J, post up. That’s pretty much it. LeBron, I think everyone wants to play like LeBron, Kobe Bryant. I really try to critique my game and Carmelo.

Found this on Dx, thought it was interesting since we all want him to be a Melo type.

Reporter: People have said you’re anywhere between 6-7 and 6-10, how tall are you?

Michael Beasley: I thought I was 6-9, I heard 6-7. In college I was 6-10, I might have grown an inch, maybe, I don’t know. I would say 6-9.

Reporter: Is your answer really that it doesn’t matter?

Michael Beasley: I didn’t know there was a height requirement.

Amundson...http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... dson_walk/

I like this guy. He'd be a good 2nd option at the 4. However I think we already have two of those.

On the basketball court I’m 30 years old. Off the court, I don’t know how mature you want me to be, I don’t know if you want me to act 25, 30, or 40. I’m 19, I’m a kid, I’m going to live me life, I’m going to mess up. I don’t know everything. I’m learning day by day.

if you read into that quote, he has pretty much predicted his whole foockin career.

He's fairly athletic, can run the floor, and is a hustle player. I wouldn't mind bringing him in to be a 5th big over Koufus.

would the blazers take west's contract + koufos for fernandez?

i think fernandez would be a nice fit with the wolves.

doesn't work financially, they'd need to add another player.

Telfair was a very good pick up, hope the T-Wolves give him a chance

He's good for getting the ball across the mid court line in a hurry, other than that he's a shoot first PG that shoots below 40%. As a 3rd PG he's acceptable I guess.

We gave him a chance already and pretty much know what he is ... 3rd PG is about right.

He will look really bad in this system. Sessions has all of the same positives but he also had size, defense and the ability to finish. Bassy is not the type that can spot up in a corner or finish off a pinch-post.

Sessions was nothing more than stop-gap ... Telfair is hopefuly gone before the season starts, but if he does stay, I ask that he never sees the floor unlessthings freeze over..

That is nice and all, but unless Ridnour plays 48 or we are willing to let Wayne try the point spot then we need back up minutes. My issue is not based on Bassy's career but if the pg struggles his teammates struggle.

Haven't we acquired 2 1st round picks from Utah in the Al Jefferson deal? Seems like one is missing on realgm, right? Or did we just trade away Al Jefferson only for that Mem 1st?

You're right - it was 2 1sts. We also got the UTA pick, but the only specifics opn the protections I've ever heard was "its probably like the MEM protections:

Top 14 protected 2012: Top 12 protected 2013: Top 10 protected 2014: Top 9 protected 2015: Top 9 protected 2016: Cash

I'm curious to see the specifics, to see whether the last year converts to an unprotected pick, like many protected 1sts do, but its highly unlikely we don't get that pick in 2011 as non-lottery pick .. maybe around 22.

If the RealGM link makes you paranoid, my two main sites for future picks both list us receiving the UTA pick.
