Jrue Holiday - Rodrigue Beubois - Eric Bledsoe
DeMar DeRozan - Omri Casspi
Nicolas Batum - Jonas Jerebko
DeMarcus Cousins - DeJuan Blair
Andrew Bynum - Hasheem Thabeet - Nikola Pekovic
Win Now: 4/10 - I really don't like the Cousins/Bynum pairing at all, tbh. Their skill sets don't compliment each other, and idk if they can co-exist. Overall, you have a very young team, that is great defensively. Blair, Casspi, and Roddy are perfect compliments off the bench that understand their role.
Future: 10/10 - Young talent everywhere. Nothing needs to be said about that.
Cap management: 10/10. - Bynum's contract is kinda bad, but everyone else is on a rookie deal.
24/30 = 80%
Now do me.

^First of all thank you very much kln for the review. very fair points.
but dont you think I can make the playoffs in a much weaker in the big department west division. I love the Bynum Cousins fit perfectly because both can destroy you in the post (Most teams only have one big man defender with size) and Cousins has a pretty good shot. It would be similar to Pau, except for Pau is obviously much better. I think I have one of the better defenses and benches to go along with everyone has a role and fit. The only thing that I think might hold me back is a seasoned vet. I only have Bynum with the experience. So did that change your mind a bit?

PG: Deron Williams - Gilbert Arenas
SG: Thabo Sefolosha - Gilbert Arenas
SF: Rudy Gay
PF: Lamar Odom
C: Brendan Haywood
Win Now: 9/10 - Definitely strong first unit. I think you need a stronger bench but I love the fits and defense. Deron can lead this team and having a second and third option like Gay and Odom is to me overkill. I like Gilbert on this team because he will have a secondary role.
Future: 6/10 - Deron, Thabo, Gay are still young but Odom and Haywood are on the decline soon.
Cap management: 6/10. - You took Arenas contract and Haywood is on a big contract.
21/30 = 70%

Win Now: 9/10
Not too hard to build a contender with Kobe in it, but I think you could have done a much better job building around Kobe. Very thin at the PG slot, not very much shooting in the starting lineup, and I'm not sure how Thompson and Nene would work together. Nice bench, though.
Future: 4/10
The only youth you really have is George Hill, Vasquez, Thompson, and Smith. Nothing spectacular moving ahead.
Cap management: 7/10
Honestly, every player is paid what they are worth on your team. A couple contracts in the higher range, but all-in-all not bad.
Total: 20/30 = 67% = D.

Jrue Holiday - Rodrigue Beubois - Eric Bledsoe

Win-Now: 7/10
For such a young squad, you really packed in some ultra-high quality players that can seriously contend. Nice team balance, and you seem to bepretty deep at every position.
Future: 10/10
Just look at the roster... 'nuff said. A few future stars on the squad.
Cap Management: 8/10
I'd give you a 10, but it really isn't too hard to manage a cap when 99.99999% of your squad is on the rookie scale and you chose to go young. Not much strategy there. Nonetheless, you are very far under the cap, so you get the credit you deserve, I guess.

First of all thank you for your input and time.
This is the only gripe I have with this. Just like going old is a strategy going young is also. I chose the best young player on the board. Most of the time they were the most productive part of my big board also. I dont see how its not a strategy.
I dont want to sound bitchy but I do think going young is a strategy I ran to perfection.

Yeah I agree with Ra here. You can't hold a guy having a good Cap against him in a Category that rewards Good Cap.

I see where you are coming from. But when you build a contending team, it takes a lot of strategy. If you go 100% young, you won't really contend for the ring. Contendors need to find a balance of high-payed players and low-payed players. That's a worry that you have only when you build a contending squad, not when you go young.
Ex.
First two picks: Gasol, Garnett. Both high payed players, but very good ones. For the next picks, you need to be sure to pick someone who doesn't get payed much, but also contributes to making your team WIN.
This wasn't so much of a worry for you, b/c going that young already includes getting players for cheep cheep.

But no offense, I can handed Tyreke, Cousins and Turner. Its not like I was given a player I can built a championship around. If I went old my team wouldve not been that much better now and way worse later.
This was the only way I couldve went and IMO made a playoff team with potential to be a perennial championship team and great cap to go after free agents or trade pieces to get superstars.

Some more concerns to me are --
How are you going to pay those guys when their rookie contracts expire?
How would this imaginary franchise make an even trade for a higher payed player?
Look man, you shoulda known of the lava you stepped onto when you asked me to rate your squad. They call me McHarsh around here. Well, not really... but I'm harsh. But fair.

You dont think that Batum, Cousins, DeRozan, Jrue, Beaubois, etc cant get all star talented players back?
Also thats like worrying about after 4 years LeBron James is going to be a free agent. I cant worry about my guys being too good and having to pay them. Thats ludicrous IMO. Everyone has to resign players later, except I have the rights to all of mine.
Oh and your edit, I didnt come here and not expect criticism but I want explanations why I get criticized. Otherwise its just hating.

I'm saying the salaries won't match.
Also also, worrying 4 years about LeBron is MUCH different than worrying about your entire roster.
Why would I hate on my ex-team? I'm rooting for you. Plus, you got the highest rating so far. If that's hating, then I must be a really nice guy.

Large TPEs from capspace helps.
Also it could be worring about resigning Wilson Chandler next year. My guys have cheap years. Ill take them and when resigning time comes it comes just like for any team. No one is on a contract forever and just because they are cheap now doesnt make a difference.
