Solved our PF problem for sure

Post#1 » by granger33 » Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:22 am

Tell me what you guys think
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=24ofv2o

Indiana: They do it because they cut costs with Ford and they gain the PF they need for the future. They save money this way and can resign Thompson and dont have to worry about over spending on Horford even though i think he would be worth it.

Houston: They do it to get Melo of course and they also add a point guard since they lose brooks. Ford is also an expiring so yea.

Denver: They do it because they arent going to get Melo back so they have to take what they can get. They also finally get Foster whom they been wanting for awhile.

Sacramento: They do it because there seems like there isnt any room for Thompson anymore so they add in vertern leadership in Mike. They also add in a former teammate of Cousin in Patterson.

There could also be a couple draft picks going places but this is my trade idea

then we do this trade and have evans sit the whole year to help mentor our young players.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=2fw3vf4

Our roster would be
Collison/Stephenson/Price
Rush/George/Stepheson
Granger/Posey/Battier
Thompson/Hansbrough/Rolle
Hibbert/Thompson

Piecing this alleged offer from your lineup, it looks to be Dunleavy/Ford/Foster/Solo for Battier & Jason Thompson? With a follow up trade of Dahntay and McRoberts for Mo Evans?

Houston does some sort of Brooks/Patterson/Battier for Melo?
Sacramento does some sort of Thompson for Dunleavy/Patterson?
Denver does Melo for Brooks/Foster?

Hard to tell. What's the 1st trade?

Would Denver really want Foster if they are going into a reload if not a full rebuild? I thought they only wanted him as 'final piece' type of thing to help in deep playoff runs against LA...

Could you post the trade here, anybody?

I'm just getting a loading screen on the ESPN trade machine link for the 4 team deal.

This is why we ask that you always type out the trade in the thread, and not just link it. Link it to show that it works financially, but type out the deal too.

IND gets Thompson, Battier
IND sends Ford, Dunleavy, Foster

HOU gets Ford, Anthony, Future 2nd Rounder(IND)
HOU sends: Brooks, Budinger, Martin, Battier, Patterson

SAC gets Dunleavy, Patterson
SAC sends Thompson

DEN gets Brooks, Budinger, Martin, Foster
DEN sends: Anthony

there is the trade.

We get WAY too good of a deal, and Sacramento gets totally screwed. Nice try though. I would love to see Thompson at the PF position, but the only possible way to get him is giving up next years 1st Rounder AND probably Paul George.

Honestly If you guys were able to pull this crap off your GM would be the obvious choice for Exec of the year. Yeah over riley. Because the amount of raping your team would have done over the summer would be insanely ridiculous.

If this went down The pacers would have used more lube than any team I have ever seen. The lube being for the raping.

I locked the version on the Kings board. I think the proper mod thing to do would be to lock it down here, too.
