Jamario Moon?

Post#1 » by moofs » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:02 pm

Rockets fan here.

A guy from Detroit mentioned that you guys aren't too big on Moon?

Anyone care to fill in poor, uninformed me?
I thought he was supposedly a good teammate, etc.
I'm also curious why Parker played more than Moon did.

Thanks!
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I like Jamario, I thought he did a very good job last year and in fact deserved alot more time than he got. But that's just my opinion.

Jamario is a good defender and pretty good slasher but he tends to make some poor decisions on offense and likes to shoot 3s rather than use his athleticism to get to the rim...Anthony Parker is smarter on the offensive end and is a better and more experienced defender than Moon...i feel like im missing something else...feel free to add on anyone

Parker played more than Moon because Moon is a SF. I don't think the organization is down on Moon at all. He's a very solid role player.

For some unexplainable reason Mike Brown chose to wear down Anthony Parker and didn't give nearly enough minutes to Moon. Jamario is a good role player, a fairly good defender and his athleticism is fun to watch on the court. Unfortunately due to his age and the fact this team is rebuilding he probably doesn't have a long term future with the Cavs.

Jamario is solid. He actually had some nice playoff performance for us as well.

Very good 2/3 wing role player, could help just about any contender because of his team first attitude.

Didn't like how he was utilized last season. He should have had more of a role on both ends of the floor. His athleticism is what I like the most about him though.

he should have been given more playing time than he was. he has some upside and is a solid player
