Both of them are repeating the GCL at age 21, getting limited innings. Hard to say what the future holds; Singh has been decent in a small sample while Patel hasn't been great, but you'd think that they'd likely want to keep them together if possible...another year in short-season at the SS-A level isn't out of the question, though they might send them to A- next year simply to find out if there is anything there.

Thanks for the links! It's quite a story, so there was as minute where I thought if I just imagined it, or if it was actually real.. i hope they make it to the bigs.

I've been following them closely as it's my ethnic duty, although there's little info about their development. It's crazy that they're even this far considering they were rawer than a fetus with a baseball glove coming in. Patel is supposed to have the better feel for pitching, but a low ceiling, while Singh has the better arm and projection based on his body type. They're probably spending most of their time at the ST facility working on basics like repeating their delivery, fitness, and learning baseball itself. They are still a loooong ways away.

This list doesn't give me much confidence.

Still way too early to write those guys off as they're still teenagers. The only definitive failure was Joel Guzman.
