Yeah, his game is really intriguing. He could be a complete package depending on how he translates.

I was actually just watching some youtube videos of George on sunday during the USA basketball game, and i thought the same thing. He looks like a Bender clone. From his explosiveness, to his dunking, to his smooth three point shooting...

Just hope he isnt injury prone like Bender was.....

But yeah, He compares himself to T-Mac or Danny... If he turns out like either of them, it will be amazing

I keep telling people who ask for him in trades that we just got the guy and we'd like to see what he can do before we trade him off.

I keep telling people in trades that they don't call him Chris Paul George for nothing.

I doubt Bird cuts Lance. Hopefully he learned from last time that you win with talent not character. Free Agents could look at the situation and prefer not to come here because of the way the organization has handled adversities.

Oh, so much fail.

Indy won when they had teamwork and character. Reggie Miller was not the most talented SG. Mark Jackson was not the most talented PG. Antonio and Dale Davis were not the most talented big men. Rik Smits was sure as hell not the most talented big men. Derrick McKey was sure as hell not the most talented swingman in the game. However, all those guys fit a team concept and had character.

Also, Lance Stephenson has 0 influence on free agents. He's a 19 year old rookie that now has had multiple charges filed, including sexual assault and assault. I doubt any free agent is going to think that Lance is a choir boy that was "wronged" here by Bird.

I think Bird will wait to see how the charges play out. As he should.

Be careful when you belittle Reggie Miller's accomplishments. Either that or you are completely ignorant of Pacers history. And NBA history, really, when it comes to talent and character.

They won a lot of games and the ECF. They were a good team, and could return to that level if they can find a productive PF. The Pacers already have a young 25PPG guy, and just added age great sophomore PG in Darren Collison

Ok, then. Go back in time. Other than Kobe Bryant once being accused of rape, who was the last NBA champion that had a severe criminal defect on the roster that lead them to a championship? Heat? Spurs? Pistons? Bulls? Rockets? Who?

Also, keep in mind. Lance Stephenson isn't a superstar in this league. He's a rookie. A 2nd rounder. He's not even guaranteed a roster spot. Hell, if he pleads guilty on something and we waive him, there's a very likely shot that he won't ever play higher than a regional basketball league. There's been a TON of guys with a TON of natural talent who have simply never made it in the NBA for just this reason.

Making the playoffs 18 out of 20 seasons was impressive considering the east was tough as hell.

There is no need to argue, the Pacers list of accomplishments is quite impressive when stacked against the whole league. To say otherwise proves one to be quite fairweathered.

Not sayin they didn't accomplish anything, but people are acting like they were a dynasty. We never won a title, if you are okay with that then you are probably a casual who only watches the Pacers when they are doin good. I know most of you ain't just casual fans or you wouldn't be postin on here all the time, but to make the playoffs 18 out of 20 years and not win a championship seems more like a failure than an accomplishment. That's just me, most of you probably don't feel that way tho.
