Obviously the LeBron situation is going to affect the CBA but I wonder if the Xavier Henry and Fernandez situation has a big effect in concentrating the minds of the owners?
Ie Heisley shows that rookie slaries can be non-guaranteed on top of the 3rd and 4th year optional.
and Fernandez's idiotic threats mean that owners will be more determined than ever to have the ability to send a player away from their team (where he can't cause trouble in the locker room) but make sure he stays in shape but doesn't enjoy it playing in the D-League away from the big city nightclubs? (It could be called the Turkoglou rule)
Will X Henry and fernandez situation affect new CBA?

I think that if a current player's situation is going to affect the new CBA, it most likely will be Ricky Rubio. As international basketball grows in importance, and the boundaries seperating the NBA and Europe grow smaller for some very talented players, I think you're going to see more emphasis on rules to try to protect NBA owners.

Thanks Shrink.
I think with the Carmelo situation happening right now and ongoing throughout the season I think there will have to eb some changes for small town teams benefit otherwise NY and LA will get all the good players and the NBA will lose all the floating fans it has.
I think the D-League and when you cans end people there will be moving up the list of owner demands at a rate of knots since last season.
