expecting spain to lose big time here (15+). Spain or any teams that can compete against US will probably hold back and not reveal a whole lot to their biggest threat until it matters. It's just how they play international ball.

I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that Spain is the only team that doesn't consider itself inferior to (at least) this model of USA team, so I think they will not hold back today...

I don't buy that this time around. I think it would absolutely be in Spains best interest to thrash this team if indeed they are capable of it. If this were a vet team maybe the hold your cards closely strategy makes more sense, but for a young team it should be make them think they are out of their element.

If Team USA tries to defend Rubio with anyone other than Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, or Rajon Rondo, they are in for a long game.

I actually don't expect either team to show their A game. It's not a real game so I don't expect good D or any gameplan or strategy.

Anxious to see how badly Rubio is going to "pwn" the Americans. I definitely think he'll surprise people with his new and improved jumpshot...

Please, he is 19 years old. Just look at how much american rookies, even the best of them suck and they are almost always older than that. You could argue that he is a pre-rookie, and that he will become a rookie in over one year when he should join the Twolves.

It is amazing that he can even play on a close to equal level with these seasoned american allstar guards, which he already did in 2008, at age 17!
17 dude!

Why do you hate a player with such a precociously developed basketball understanding?

Will the NBA TV broadcasting of the game have announcers? I noticed USA vs Lit didn't. and TBH watching a game w/o announcers is pretty brutal.

I dont think Rubio can "pwn" the Americans in this game, Calderon will play a lot, I think Marc Gasol has better chances to "pwn" Chandler...

What in the world? I'm a fan of his (Timberwolves fan) so I was giving him compliments...

Rubio will still play 15+ minutes in the game, enough for him to make a HUGE difference.

Rubios game also isn't really about owning, he is not in any way a scorer. His strength comes from being able to run his team well while playing pretty good D at a young age.

Rubio sounds a lot like Rondo, then. : ) I'll take the guy with more experience at running an offense...

None the less, if Team USA plays defense like they did against Lithuania, they'll have a good chance of at least winning this exhibition.
