Eventually this will happen for sure. I do not know if it will the season after next.

That's the problem with the statement. :(

Makes sense for him to leave with the uncertainties of the CBA and the likelihood of having a much more lucrative and bad ass lifestyle in Europe. He's also getting more respect from his home country if him starting over a veteran like Beno Udrih is of any consideration. Or maybe he doesn't like Hedo

I think that "Dragic may opt out for Europe" link is being taken out of context.

If not mistaken, it was a European reporter in Europe asking him about playing in Europe. In that context, sure it makes sense. He's not gonna tell the European guy flat out, "No."

It is kinda like having dinner at a friends house with their parents and they keep pouring you some split-pea soup and they keep asking, "Do you like it?" To be polite, you're definitely going to say yes and play the friendly end regardless of how u feel.

Dragic is not going anywhere. He was put on spot about playing in Europe and he is just being nice to the reporter. It is also a wise move b/c it shows his agent means business. One thing is for sure: Dragic is going to be making big bucks when time comes for extension and Suns better pay up or else...

LMFAO @ that email to Seth.

Anyway, that RealGM link is a prime example of why NBA fans are really, really stupid. They read crap like that, and think they know everything.

Even if it is true, to be fair can we blame him?

Getting paid and being able to travel around Spain, Greece, Italy, etc? He would be crazy NOT to go to Europe

He's making sure he gets paid imo. If a threat of europe does that, that's fine. Can't blame him.

I wish you were good enough at basketball to make it to a league in a country with no internet connection so that someone could offer you a contract.

Can't say you don't have a point. I'd *much* rather travel round those countries for games than interstate in the US.

Apparently, he clarifies that he wants to END his career in Europe and would prefer to be with the Suns for many years.

Funny how wiretap still has both headlines:

# Dragic Clarifies Comments About Europe
# Calderon Out For World Championships
# Antoine Walker Receiving Interest From Teams
# Dragic Might Opt To Leave NBA

Aaron Brooks AND Kobe Bryant?? Hopefully David West doesn't plan on ever receiving the ball :)

LOL we're gonna have some sharing seminars...hoping Brooks/Bryant can each do some creating plays though, they both have pretty good passing skills and hey, it ain't no LBJ/Wade/Bosh

Brooks + Bryant + West is worse than LBJ + Wade + Bosh.

How so? Wade, Bosh and LeBron are much more volume scorers than these three, and much bigger egos (minus Kobe). Brooks and Kobe can both create very well for each other and their teammates, and much like any powerhouse team like the Lakers, Celtics, one player can go off when another is having a bad game and vice versa. I'm looking at a system where Brooks or Bryant bring the ball up interchangeably and work it through each other. West or even Hibbert is an easy 2 points if Brooks/Bryant/Battier pull enough help out towards the perimeter. Brooks and West both will defer to Kobe just like his teammates in real life do, and I've picked good chemistry guys so it all works out.

Let me know your thoughts, any feedback on my team is appreciated.
