Yeah, I think stats would be helpful. Otherwise people just focus on the "big names" on a roster.

NBA Champion that year

Jamaal Wilkes 80-81
22.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 2.9 apg
NBA Champion that year

Cazzie Russell 76-77
16.4 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.4 apg, FG% .490 FT% .860

Frank Selvy 61-62
14.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 4.8 apg

Richard Garmaker 56-57
16.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 2.7 apg

Keith Erickson 72-73
9.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.2 apg, FT% .860
NBA Champion that year

George Lynch 93-94
9.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.4 spg, FG% .508

Mike McGee 84-85
10.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg, FG% .538
Lost to the Celtics in the NBA Finals

don't mean to hate on good ol team worthy, but please consider that you only get players based on how they played for the lakers. rodmoan is anything but killer.
Rodman before he tweaked out was playing damn good ball. I get the gist of what you're saying, but how does it degrade that front line ? My assessment wasn't based on numbers guys put up just because they they were Lakers, it was based on talent and what they could do on the court. When you have a front line of Bynum, Worthy and Rodman.....ahh that's a pretty damn solid front court. It's big, strong and athletic. 2 solid post threats and all 3 can rebound. Find me a front line from this contest that's half way comparable ? It was none that I saw and it's the reason I placed TEAM WORTHY at 1.

I think both team Wilt and team Shaq have better frontcourts than that.

It wouldn't have mattered if Drew had played in all 82 games j-far that's just the way it is on this board. Once I drafted Drew I never had a change. I probably have the best defensive team on paper & arguably the best bench yet I didn't even make some peoples top 5.

I think the injuries should be thrown out as far as counting against them it should have been based on what numbers would have been projected over an 82 game seasonSo in essence this was bogus as hell! Lololololololol

I didn't make the top 5 and my team's averages is like 150+ ppg, 90+ rpg and with Wilt and Elmore 20-30+ bpg. Elmore had 17 himself that season and Wilt was rumored to easily get 20 in big games.

Yeah no injuries would have changed a lot of the voting and drafting.

Yeah you have teams with Shaq/Wilt and Kareem at C and then AB's team has Bynum and Rodman, so its not a surprise if other front courts were picked higher.

Yeah that is a helluva team as well. This sort of thing needs to have stats into a computer & sorted out
