Yanks @ Maple Jays

Not a bad debut for this Ivan Nova kid...not bad at all...5.1 innings and he made one mistake with Batista, a hanging curve that he crushed but he rebounded the next inning. Give him some love. He wouldn't be bad to have once in a while with Vasquez's arm being twitchy.

oh yea... lets hope we can get some help from the stinking angels... terrible loss tonight and with boston playing hot ball now, they are within 5.5 games.... typical yanks.. get a pretty good performance from the rookie nova and we can't hit, yet this .257 hitter bautista who does nothing but swing for the fence, torches us for 2 homers... just typical..

without A-rod in this lineup we are in trouble, especially if we sit jeter and guys like granderson strike out 3+ times a game.. geez that guy has been a dissapointment so far...

Nova gave up zero earned runs in my book. He should have pitched more than 70 something pitches. Definite decent start tonight though. Vassuck or BJ would have given up 8 runs.

You were saying? Yankees are showing the cheating Roid Jays how to hit homeruns tonight. It's great to show off in front of Roidtista and his steroid juiced up biceps.

Good to see our bats waking up and finally giving our pitchers the run support they deserve, our bullpen should get some good practice throwing against these Jays

yea, that concerns me.. Hughes has to pick it up and we have to get andy back... tough loss today, we blew an opportunity with both boston and the rays losing.. (boston the second game of double header)..

would be nice to hit a little streak and put some distance between us and the rays and just put boston out of the picture..

hughes is reaching his innings limit. What's disconcerting is the fact the Yanks don't have any one else more reliable than CC.
