Heralded as one of the top prep players in the country a little over a year ago and a sure fire top pick had he declared after his freshman season, we are ecstatic to have Devin fall into our hands. One of the top defensive players in NCAA, we see Devin being able to contribute immediately in that area off the bench for us as a potential shut down defender (being able to guard any of 4 positions) and as a rebounder...forming a dynamic tandem with Paul George. We will work diligently with Devin to develop the other areas of his game and envision him becoming a complete/elite player that many felt he would become in the near future."

Ebanks scouting report:

Uses his great length to his advantage on both ends of the floor
Good ball-handler which allows him to be a point forward-type player
Great vision as a passer
A slasher who despite his thin frame, isn't afraid to attack the basket
Long arms and leaping ability make him a solid rebounder
Decent back-to-the-basket player who uses his quickness to get around defenders
Excels in transition whether he's pushing the ball or just running the floor
Excellent defender (which is a trademark of a Bob Huggins player) who can guard multiple positions
