With the 355th pick the MIAMI HEAT select...

DEVIN EBANKS

"With their final pick the Miami Heat may indeed have themselves the steal of the draft. Heralded as one of the top prep players in the country a little over a year ago and a sure fire top pick had he declared after his freshman season, we are ecstatic to have Devin fall into our hands. One of the top defensive players in NCAA, we see Devin being able to contribute immediately in that area off the bench for us as a potential shut down defender (being able to guard any of 4 positions) and as a rebounder...forming a dynamic tandem with Paul George. We will work diligently with Devin to develop the other areas of his game and envision him becoming a complete/elite player that many felt he would become in the near future."

Ebanks scouting report:

Uses his great length to his advantage on both ends of the floor
Good ball-handler which allows him to be a point forward-type player
Great vision as a passer
A slasher who despite his thin frame, isn't afraid to attack the basket
Long arms and leaping ability make him a solid rebounder
Decent back-to-the-basket player who uses his quickness to get around defenders
Excels in transition whether he's pushing the ball or just running the floor
Excellent defender (which is a trademark of a Bob Huggins player) who can guard multiple positions

Wizards are glad to add this young big man to the team, to learn behind Dwight and hopefully become a big part of this team. We hope he can hold up his position as the backup Center until Przybilla returns from his injury. Washington Wizards welcome Magnum Rolle

Picking for mags...

The NEW YORK KNICKS select...

LAWRENCE FRANK(head coach).

"The New York Knicks today announced the hiring of Lawrence Frank as the new head coach. The fiery young Frank had success leading the Nets to repeated playoff appearances from 2003 to 2007 and is considered a players coach. New York is just about done in it's complete revamping and revitalization of a once dead franchise into an NBA powerhouse."

Dam, I gotta make two picks? I'll make the pick of the skipped pick first so I'll have some time to come up with my pick that is on the clock...

Pick #359 overall, the LA Clippers select legendary head coach Bob Knight.

Image

Resume:
902-371 all-time record
NCAA leader of wins all-time
3 NCAA rings
1 NIT ring
11 Big Ten Conference Champs
4x National Coach of the Year
6x Big Ten Coach of the Year
Olympic Gold Medal

I am very pleased to welcome a coach with such a sparkling resume to my roster. We feel that his style of trapping man-to-man defence in combination with the fast-paced motion offense is a very good fit for our squad. We realized this when we made the trade for Chris Paul, and we are now a team absolutely stacked with great slashers and excellent passers. Andrew Bynum is a perfect center to man the paint in this system as well. Johnson, Beaubois, West, Weems are all superb passers, and allow us to play very effectively in an inside-out game with Bynum.

Tibor Pleiß

We like the size he brings and ability to finish around the rim as well as crash the boards. Very useful 3 big men and is only 20.

knicksfan5494 delete that pick if you can... you actually traded 362 to Ra in the Paul trade and it wasn't updated on the tracker so you only had one pick.
