OT: So how's college going for everyone?

Post#1 » by MaryvalesFinest » Wed Aug 25, 2010 6:15 am

Most semesters started this week I think so wondering how's it going for everyone. What classes are you taking and what degree are you working towards?

For me if I pass all my classes this semester and next semester I think I get my associates degree...

What about everyone else?

Entering my last year and if everything goes as planned (knock on wood) I'll graduate next spring with a B.A. in Japanese.

Life's good :)

Still in high school. Will be legally able to drive in a few months. School is easy, not too hard, and not much of a workload. Got good teachers this year, except for a tool of a sceince teacher. :D

Looking to further continue my studies after high school, and become a Chemical Engineer.

Nah. I'll be working on a Nuclear Power Plant, working on engineering a new concoction that will blow people's minds. Meth is too old school.

Congratulations! I recently attended a University Open Day, and I really liked Chemical Engineering. Electrical Engineering sounded interesting aswell.

Friend just got assigned to jets in the Navy. Big fan of the program they have. It's easy to see why we have the best armed forces in the world.

Good luck!

Graduated in 2008 from SMU here in Dallas, TX. Work in commercial real estate and love it. Tough work to be sure, but I've learned 200x as much since I graduated as I did in college.

2nd semester of Grad school in New Orleans started this week. Work load progressively gets heavier and heavier until my brain only spits out developmental theory and my kids don't recognize me any more.

Sophomore at UCF, majoring in Molecular Biology & Microbiology. Hopefully I'll be in medical school in the near future, but this semester is gonna be tough. Organic Chem I, Physics I, Physiology and some easy Gen. ed class.

Yikes. I remember taking just O-chem and Cell&Molec Bio the same semester (along w/ some Gen. ed classes) was a handful for me. Good luck, and I applaud your bravery.
