Bell came here to get paid and have an outside shot at a ring. He's nowhere close to AK, he's worse than CJ, and he's probably worse than Hayward, and if he is worse than Hayward, I don't see why he should play.

What how is Bell worse then C.J?

When he's healthy he's always been a 40%+ Knock down three point shooter. And his defense even when he was injured was better then anything Miles has ever shown us.

A healthy Bell on the defensive end is our best Man to Man defender.

And he brings toughness and veteran leadership to this team. He's not afraid to make big shots or stay in the Jerseys of the other teams best scorer

Bell is better shooter than CJ. Much better on ball defender than CJ.

Miles also can defend, but he cant do it all the time. But Raja does.

Hope we will start

Deron
Bell
Ak
Millsap
Big Al

top 3 seed for sure in the West

I don't think it really matters who starts. What is more important is who ends the games on the floor. My guess is most games will end with:

D-Will
Bell
AK
Milsap
Jefferson

However, if C.J. has a hot hand I'd expect to see him on the floor at the end of those games.

Seems like a lot of people are sleep on CJ. He played really well in the playoffs and to end the season, I hope he continues to progress and makes it hard to keep him off of the floor.

I am excited to think several players will exceed popular expectations.

I actually feel like, historically on here, people are wide awake drinking a Red Bull on CJ. They could use a little sleep.

I want to emphasize the flexibility we have. We have 3 good options at both sets of positions. We should definetly put the best defensive team on the floor to set the early tone in games.

Bell will spread the floor with his three point shooting and AK runs the base line a lot better than CJ. If the other team has a better SG than SF than Bell will be needed more. i.e. versus Bryant, Roy, but if they have a better SF than SG than AK will be needed more i.e. versus Anthony, Durrant.

I know CJ has lost confidence coming off the bench in the past but if he is our solid 6 man and the first of the bench, his role will be consistent and playing against other teams second units should help his confidence as he'll have more opportunity to score.

Just few things-

Millsap if a 4 only. He can play the 5 in emergencies and against teams going small.

Hayward is a NBA 3. He doesn't not have the lateral quickness to guard 2's. He can barely guard NBA 3's. Offensively he is still plus either off the ball or running the pick and roll.

Bell is 6'5- his best position is the 2.

So rotation-wise until Memo gets back I expect

Deron 38/ Price 10 (Gaines)
Bell 28/Miles 20 (Jeffers/Price/Gaines)
AK 20/ Miles 8/ Hayward 20 (Jeffers)
Millsap 36/ AK 12 (Evans)
Jefferson 36/ Fess 12 (Millsap/New FA big man)

(Indicates emergency filler)

Until we sign another Big man we are very thin. In general this team has less depth than in year's past. If Deron, AK, Millsap or Jefferson go down we would be in really big trouble.

Once Memo returns I think you would start

Deron 38/ Price 10 (Gaines)
Bell 28/Miles 20 (Jeffers/Price/Gaines)
AK 32/ Hayward 12/ Miles 4 (Jeffers)
Millsap 34/ Jefferson 14 (Evans)
Jefferson 22 / Memo 26 (Fess)

Well considering the fact that he struggled guarding Evan Turner and Terence Williams in the Summer League; it is a logical projection.
