why hasnt Earl Barron signed?

I mean, has it gotten so bad now, that we cant even recruit a career nbdl guy back to this club?

we do need some bodies for the C spot, whats the delay?

Hes a scrub. Dont get fooled by a little run towards the end of the season. This happens alot.

The Knicks had interest in Barron, but Knicks president Donnie Walsh, according to a source, has not heard recently from the Barron camp and isn’t sure what his future is.

“I think we’re done,” a team source said.

I hope we get something done...I want him back in NY.

that quote means the team is done trying with him.

It means that the Knicks want to resign him but Barron's people aren't responding. It doesn't seem like the he wants to come back...Knicks at least tried (supposedly).

Barron's camp reortedly wanted a little too much money and IIRC, a guaranteed contract of 2 yrs with a 3rd year option, so Walsh went and got Jordan in the draft. Then he signed Mozgov and there was no room for Barron. Now that Jordan is stashed for a year, Barron gets revisited.

Barron must have been expecting to cash in on this years free agency bonanza because of his late season showing... I bet he was banking on his former team the Heat snatching him up to complement the "big 3".

Earl Barron is no Jackie Butler. If we kept him, all our problems would be solved.
