Earl Barron sucks. Even if we do bring him back, he won't play at all. We have made a significant upgrade at the position and Mike has a tradition of going small. Someone needs to lock and delete this thread ASAP.

I wouldn't be totally against signing him if we had space. He's tall and can give us at the min some fouls. Mozgov is no sure thing we all know Curry is horrible, and Turiaf could use some help. I think Knicks must be pretty confident they can't get serviceable backup minutes out of Mozgov or be able to sufficiently bridge the cap with Amare doing spot duty there...

I rather NY sign a shot-blocker rather than Earl "Mid-Range" Barron. I guess Eddy Curry will get some PT this season. He should at least be able to match Barron's rebounding from the end of last season.

turiaf, amare, curry all have significant injury issues
mosgov is a unknown
AR is too small

Im not tying their decisions together

Im just pointing out the fact no one wants to sign with this team: lebron, wade, bosh, all said no, nbdl player barron is saying no, melo prefers houston and scared of tax (per yahoo and nypost), cant get no one who doesnt have any concerns...sad state of affairs indeed
