If the team is looking for someone that's going to be a bad fit and upsets Jackson on a nightly basis, then definitely go hard after Smith.

I'm not understanding the love for this guy. He can hit threes, but he's a moron.

from the Bulls boards:

JR Smith tries to choke player in practice

Nuggets JR Smith was involved in a physical altercation at August 13th practice with the team. Police called. So that's apparently the straw that broke the camel's back... The player who JR tried to choke, was reportedly playing physical defense after the coaching staff asked him to.

I wonder who was the "kid" he was choking and why was he playing in the practice facility with other players? Sounds like a PR mistake waiting to happen.

Anywayaze thats a NO WAY JOSE on J.R..

from RealGM:

"They were just wanting the guy to be physical with J.R., telling the other guys, 'Hey, body up on the guys and really make them work,'" the source said. "J.R. just lost it. He tried to choke the kid, and the kid called the cops."
