That is really cool. It looks like someones math homework. The two little boxes that say (Rajon Rondo) and (Marc Gasol) hurt. But there's always a price to pay for success.

^ imagine how genius Kupchak would look now if he had convinced Boston to take that high potential combo guard drafted in the 2004 1st round by LA instead of giving up the future pick (and took Rajon Rondo for himself in 06)!

So we traded Gary Payton, Rick Fox, Rajon Rondo, and $2 million cash for Jumaine Jones and Chucky Atkins? Awesome.

Well that would've been OK, but truth is we were force to give up the pick because Ainge got wind that Fox was going to retire. So Mitch had to kick in that pick. Plus it's not like he knew it would end up being Rondo, but I get what you're saying.

If we didn't trade that pick, we probably wouldn't have picked Rondo anyways. Rick Fox was old and retiring too, so he wasn't worth anything. GP wasn't worth much after we traded away Shaq; that trade wasn't as one-sided as it seems.

Payton's value to the team wasn't solely because of O'Neal. He was past his prime at the time, but he was still able to contribute some solid minutes.

AGREE!

Rhonda would have been fine in Phil's system OR we could have traded him for someone better than Sucky Askins...
