Spain gets coddled by the refs. It's really the main thing i'm concerned about when playing them, especially with Navarro.

France cant shoot. Lots of wide open looks but can't knock them down.

No wonder, then, why they were so mortally pissed about all those "travels."

Let's not get into the travel debate again, there were a couple of blatant ones from US players today, you could even hear the whole arena get upset about it.

Like the way France is playing if they make shots.

Not only they are pissed about USA getting away with traveling. Everyone else feels the same way.

I wonder why Spain isn't letting Rubio penetrate more, he can do that almost any time he wants to.

Instead he is just pounding the ball at the top of the arc like Calderon....

Only good thing that came out of the China game for us is a wake-up call and that Zisis played damn well. Guy still hasn't recovered from that vicious elbow Varejao served him back in '06.

Good game so far. France plays excellent defense but can't shoot/get open looks. If they just stop Rubio from penetrating in the 2nd half score they can win.

For the record, the Germany-Argentina match is 18-23 after Q1. As expected, ARG - who are simply better at every position - are just that little bit better and can counter anything that GER can throw at them. But still, if our outside shooting big men get hot, the game can get interesting.

Man, against us, Scola/Oberto/Delfino look like the 2nd coming of Parish/McHale/Bird :)

France is the most frustrating team to watch.
