Good response from Kobe regarding Doc's starting 5 comments around the 2:45 mark.

Hell, even if Doc was right; who cares if his starting five is never capable of playing together when it matters?

I do like jelly beans though.

I like how Kobe admitted he played like crap in game 7. Lebron wouldn't do that.

Imagine if we could, just once, have a thread about Kobe where someone doesn't have to bring up Lebron, and vice versa?

Classy interview but not really all that insightful. Like the fact that he stayed out of the fray about what happened in Miami. Would have unnecessarily added fuel to the fire.

A few things I like from this interview

-Kobe basically admitted he played like crap in Game 7.
-Kobe assures doubters that he would not have join force with Tmac and KG had he's not winning a title. Something people need to understand the difference between Lebron and Kobe. One is too competitive, the other is more laid back, fun going guy who just want to be a part of history rather than challenging the history.

-Kobe is 99.9999% retire as a Lakers, something not many players can do in their entire career. It's rare to see a player retired the team they only play for. West, Baylor, Magic, and now Kobe. thats a damn good 4 HoFer who play with only 1 team.

Huh you know Kobe fans would make you think Kobe has this intense hate for Shaq and just saying the name would cause Kobe Hulk Rage

How do people say Kobe isn't classy and humble? He is as classy as anyone in interviews as far as I know. He's always respectful and doesn't really say anything that he doesn't want to say, he seems really comfortable in his own skin these days, and that couldn't always be said unless your going back to his days as a real young buck.

And please learn to separate faces/expressions/gestures/trash talk and stuff they do while competing, from other stuff, it's just emotion, that's it. Yeah, totally not serious at all. If he's a badass and everyone already knows it anyway, then what's the problem? Let these superstars flaunt a little bit, they're giving us entertainment.

That was cool but Ron Artest interviewing Kobe would have been more entertaining.

I like the interview. He doesn't seem to be afraid of the teams in the East.

snaq,

that's some funny ****.... I recall postings of Kobe and fish crying, kobes GQs gay gangster shots and those too were equally funny. Some mo fukrs are pretty creative when it comes to photo shop, ....priceless. keep it up.

Regarding the interview, tWas good overall. Hopefully Fish begins to like that more than chasing young guards so he can go sooner rather than later. 3 year contract says a lot about the organization and it taking care of it's own.

Lakers have put him in position to win 5 titles with 7 finals appearances and have the highest payroll in the league, and he still isn't 100% certain he'll retire a Laker?

You really can't just say "100%" because there are so many unforseen things that can happen in the world of sports. New CBA and all type of thing. Would not read in to that as much as you are.
