I wouldn't include Dudley for Melo. Frankly I am more excited over JChill then anything Melo might bring.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.

Why would you send Studs off for a player that will stick around only for a year?

Dudley might only stick around for a year too.
Best package would include Clark, Lawal, Dudley, two first round draft picks. And that isn't enough to get anywhere.

All that to get a single player for 1 year? Incredible.

We don't have attractive enough assests to trade for Melo. He wants the bright lights as MVF mentioned, so any trade we make would only get ur 1 yr of Melo. If he hasn't an extension then he's not even worth Lawal. Let's move on people.

Melo would be a great fit in the system, and the need for a PF would be somewhat answered by the physicality he plays with. In the end, i think that he's not going to stick around. It's going to be hard to sell PHX to him for long term, with the possibility of Nash and Grant retiring in the near future.

While NY is still his most probable destination eventually, PHX area does have some glitz and glam reputaiton in Scottsdale. In NY they ould be at court, in Scottsdale they would be royalty. I say "they" because I have to think LaLa is a big part of this discussion, for better or worse.

I think we have to explore the possibility of what the price will be for Melo, up against what other pieces people are offering. I have stated previously, if Melo is out, I would have no problem going for Nene. He's signed for 2 more years at $11 mil or so and is a beast to deal with down low, plus I miss having a Brazilian on our team already. Vamo Nessa Pessoal!

Lol @ Melo ever going to the Wolves or Kings. No way he'd ever stick around to either of those places. Nets are a possibility, but I'd rather see him go to New York. I love that all the Western Conference all-stars want to go elsewhere, especially if it is in the East. I guess none of them want to face the Lakers more than twice during the regular season...
