OT-ish: Dirk Hayhurst has a...... book?!

Post#1 » by evilRyu » Sun Aug 29, 2010 11:44 pm

I just found out that our very own Dirk Hayhurst has a book called "The Bullpen Gospels".. I'm not going to read the Description, but just found it interesting we have our own author on the team

You didn't know The Garfoose had a book‽ Well you're barely even a Jays fan then. I turn my nose up at you, sir.

Where have you been? You couldn't read or hear anything on the Jays back in March/April without someone mentioning Hayhurst's book.

Is that an interrobang I see‽ That is amazing... I just used one of them a few days ago, and it was the first time I had seen one used in years!

Not only does he have a book but it's already considered one of the best baseball books of ALL TIME!

He got all kinds of national exposure in the spring about this. It was on the best sellers list. The printer was surprised by it's popularity so much that they ran out of copies & had to do another printing run of the book.

Reading the book right now and its got some hilarious stories in it. My buddy is a catcher in the minors right now and he told me about it, he said its the best baseball book he's read and its spot on.
That's what she said.

It would be like not knowing Chacin had a perfume.
