Kobe acts like an arrogant douche on the court all the time, nobody really thinks it's an issue (there are people who hate him for it, but for some it's just his game and he isn't going to change that attitude any time soon). I don't like either Kobe or LeBron, but if they were on my team I would probably feel differently.I might feel the same about Jennings. That's where it goes from being logical to just being a fan, personally.
Exactly. I believe both LeBron and Kobe are amazing players. I think LeBron is a real tool off of the court (and some of the things on the court) for some of the things he has done and I have never liked Kobe Bryant's attitude at all.
If those guys were on the Bucks I'm sure I would feel a lot different about it.
Just like I'm sure people view Brandon Jennings' hair, trash talk, dancing, predraft comments, failed SATs, trip to Europe, etc. different than most Bucks fans do. Once again, I don't really even see how this is a debate.
The argument has switched from me saying "I don't think it's a smart thing for him to do because it is going to hurt how people view him even more." to people saying "Why should he care how people see him?" and then they switched gears to "Jennings has a great reputation amongst common fans".
Pretty much what it seems like people are saying is Jennings can do whatever he wants. He can trash talk Hall of Fame players, rip on other players to the media (Rubio), etc. and that doesn't change how people view him. Are you serious?
