The Jays head to Tampa to face the Rays in a 3 game series.

Game 1 (Monday Aug 30): Brett Cecil vs Wade Davis 7:10pm

Game 2 (Tuesday Aug 31): Ricky Romero vs Jeff Niemann 7:10pm

Game 3 (Wednesday Sept 1): Shaun Marcum vs David Price 7:10pm

Niemann and Price... I have a feeling the Rays might pull of the sweep here :-?

Just noticed that considering the bad season that Lind and Hill have had, they have quietly made it close to 20HR.

I doubt there is a sweep, but I am grateful that Shields won't be facing the Jays after his last outing in Toronto.

Tampa fighting for first in the AL East and their stadium is mostly empty. I don't think a new stadium is going to draw many more people out to games.

Disappointing game, but the Rays sure don't suck and Cecil was due for a rough night. It's OK Brett... and, love that he tried to ask his way out onto the mound for the 8th! Good stuff, you'll get 'em next time (or next year, if he gets shut down soon, anyway).
