It says he has his NBA rights held still by an NBA team?

Ok I will go with Petteri Koponen instead as my overseas player and Steve Novak to replace Harangody.

Memphis let go of his rights when they signed Allen Iverson last year.

Hornets sign Sean May

We're impressed with his overall improvement in performance and weight loss, and we're hoping for a re-birth.

Not yet, it looks like the Mavs are hanging on to Finley and try to trade him after learning his Contract.

The Miami Heat has announced that it has waived PG Sherron Collins and signed SG Gary Neal.

Reached at his palatial estate on South Beach estate, GM moocow was asked about this move...

"We liked Sherron a lot, a great competitor at Kansas and showed that he's willing to put in the work needed to be successful in the NBA. But we felt that we needed more shooters who could help expand the floor and open up the paint for our top players and we believe we found that in Gary Neal."

The former all time scoring leader at Towson State...Gary Neal has spent the past 3 seasons overseas and has evolved into a star player at his various stops in Turkey, Spain and Italy (where he was often referred to as "Il Mago" or the Magician).

Earning All-Italy and All-Euroleague honors last season while averaging 19.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.8apg, 2.0spg and an astounding 62% shooting from the field (which is mind boggling for a perimeter player), Neal played both the role of primary offensive option as well as playmaker for his Italian team (often tasked to play point).

In summer league play, Gary continued to show his potent skill set by leading his team in scoring while shooting a terrific 50% from BOTH NBA 2 point AND 3 point range (30 for 60 and 17 for 34 respectively).

"We feel we have added another weapon in coach Riley's arsenal and look forward to the start of the season"

NOTE: Sherron Collins has a non-guaranteed contract so I won't have his contract on my books. Gary Neal also is signed (by the Spurs, who usually a great judges of obscure talent) to an extremely team friendly 3 year deal ($525,000 guaranteed 1st year, non-guaranteed $788,872 contract for the 2nd year and then a non-guaranteed "veteran minimum" contract for the 3rd and final year...with the amount being open ended and likely to adjust down in the likelihood that the vet minimum is lower in the new CBA. Unless many other "seasoned veterans" that come over from Europe, Neal is still only just 25 years old.
