But I have watched the games, and I don't see the obvious quitting that would put him above the two players I mentioned.

You are clearly not paying attention. If you look at the game thread for that game all the talk was about LeBron being injured or just quitting. The fact that you don't notice just emphasizes the fact that you don't know what you are talking about.

Hey nobody quit!!! The Cavs just got beat and out coach. Brown is not head coach material. The Cavs organization had just lost the biggest free agent in NBA History Lebron James. So all of my Cavs Fans We should be mad at the organization. Hey just ask yourself if you were in charge would you would of let the King walk to another team?

Sigh. I really hope you are kidding. We have the arguably the best owner in the league.. We acquired Shaq and Jamison, whom LeBron wanted.. We assembled a team that was centered around LeBron, and won 60+ games in back to back seasons. The organization did everything they can to keep LeBron satisfied and happy, just so he would stay.. LeBron simply gave away the best chance for the Cavs to win the title in game 5, when he quit on the team.

Yes. Either that or you hadn't seen LeBron in any other playoff series before. I'm not sure which. Other than you just being a LeBron apologis defending him against logic those are the only alternatives.

You're accusing Mo and Jamison of quitting, but their job in the offense was to stand around and wait for LeBron to get them the ball? Did they quit doing that?....of course not.
Now, what neither did was step up outside their role and put up an individual effort to deliver a win. Fault them for that, but recognize that wasn't their designed role. You also have to consider that LeBron quitting wasn't exactly planned the guys had no idea what was going on with him. Its not clear if they fully understood they had to get the ball from him and do it themselves as it was happening. The coaching staff didn't recognize it either.

If they quit last season, than what was the excuses for the past three seasons getting knocked out?

Beat by better teams or at least teams they couldn't match up with. If you'd notice, previous years LeBron was upset with being eliminated, this year? Not so much. He gave up and gave little effort during multiple games during the playoffs. The only explanation is injury or giving up.

The diffrence I seen was Jamison and Williams just played poorly. That doesn't mean they quit. LBJ on the other hand played diffrent then usual, his body language was sluggish and he didn't play with any passion like usual. Even the announcers noticed a diffrence in his play.

When healthy, Boston was just a better team last year. Lebron was the best player on the floor but the rest of the key matchups went Boston's way.

That said, Cleveland did seem to concede defeat mentally.

It looked like LeBron quit. He sure stopped taking it to the basket. He was either injured and quit, or he didn't want to advance.

Maybe he felt that if they won the championship, it would have been expected that the Cavs would have defended the crown and the opportunity to bolt for Miami would be missed.

In either case, he quit.

Jamison and Williams did not quit. They were outplayed by bad matchups and there should have been adjustments. For instance Hickson should have played Garnett and Delonte should have played more minutes at point. By the way I am a LeBron fan but he definitely did not give the effort in game 5 that a player of his ability should have. He will regret that because championship opportunities do not grow on trees. The Cavs fans have every right to be mad with Lebron and should express their opinion anytime they want. My thing is that the success of the last seven years especially since 2006 is phenomenal and should be recognized for what it was a very good team and a great player. The key is this year all of the guys pulling together like the bulls in 94 remember they were a couple of plays from reaching the nba finals in 94. Look at the Lakers in 92 Sedale threat had his best year after magic. Mo, Jamison can provide enough offense and defense can still win games. If this team makes the playoffs this will be a victory for the city. Good luck!

Without look at Stats

KG schooled Jamison by shooting all day long over him
Rondo umm obviously do you need moar explanation ... yeah poor No Show Mo

LeBron watch his team from the Top of the Key, you see him do quite often during the series, call it he quit or not, all series long his team didnt do anything to step up. So do they deserve LeBron steping it up for 3 Series long alone and win the title. Is this a joke really?

Cavs are due to a defeat at Orlando series due to Carter mismatch and LA behemoth Lineup... Jamison cant defend Pau

Oh Yeah Varejao quits also lol INJURY why dont you considered that also. His game was never the same with the incident with Rose
Y'all are just mad because y'all don't got swagger like Lebron has. It is a scientific fact that Bron's swagger has the power to transform an otherwise level-headed adult male into a jealous woman.

Vince mismatch? My money would have been on Parker outplaying Vince all series. Vince was vastly outplayed by Delonte last time the Cavs played him.

So, with your fractured logic I guess that anytime someone doesnt play well or up to their abilities, the rest of the team should quit? I am not sure which is more fractured, your logic or your ability to write and speak english. Either way you are a troll, feel free to go back to the Miami board where you can gloat along with the rest of the Lecon nut huggers.

I blame a lot on coach brown for not being able to adjust during the series and for not have a tight regin on lebron leting him run the team as though he was the coach thoughout his whole time being coach of cleveland...the only thing I fault Lebron for is how he did the "decision", the rest I put more on coach brown, one not being an effective coach and two for not using of what talent he had besides Lebron.

Mcfly put it quite succinctly. But I'd also like to point out how ridiculus it is to give such a simplistic answer (withput any explanation) when just about every post is pointing out how dumb the OP's original argument was.

Jamison and Williams didn't quit. They just are terrible in the postseason
Stop being so disrespectful.
