I think the fact that crop circles have gotten progressively better and better over the years kinda speaks for itself. Aliens would have probably kept on creating circles in the same or similar style the entire time. The last one in the second video in the OP is actually kinda ridiculous, with an "image" of what we perceive today that greys look like, along with an ASCII code next to it. That one screams "human made" more than any of them, to me.

The Mesas in Peru are also a nice indication of the unusual stuff marking our Planet.

Good looks. Even though you started the thread talking about the Annunaki and Mags changed the title, your point still stands. I think all of this kind of stuff is very interesting and its not what they teach you in school, so its very eye opening in that sense whether you believe or not. Some people just come into these types of threads and dismiss everything just because thats not what they were taught or brought up believing. Wheres the fun in that? Who says what the media, church, and government says is absolute fact? They very well could be fact but theres always a chance they have lied to us and covered things up. The higher ups have been lying to their people for thousands of years. That is a FACT even to this day. So its up to you to decide when they are lying or telling the truth, which is what threads like this are all about.

Thats one way of looking at it. But the flip side is that aliens have been visiting this planet for centuries. Its not like they just come here and then bounce. People all over the world since the earliest civilizations swear to have seen UFOs, USOs (even government, military, nasa personnel) and many claim they have been abducted. So unless everybody is lying here there seems to be something to this. Crop circles are just a very small part of the whole thing, but they are beautiful to look at even if they are all hoaxes.

The point is how do you explain some of these sightings?

Scientists have studied these tapes and claim there have been no tampering involved with most of the ones who say they are genuine. Ive seen aot of these sightings on the History channel and the likes. Once in a while you get a clear fake job but I would say 75% of the shots in this video are real. Now whether they are human or alien UFOs is the question. Skeptics just say they are all camera tricks, space debris, or spots on the lens. You be the judge.

Do your own research though people. Bring something to the discussion whether you believe or not.

Heres Buzz Aldrin talking about UFOs

Apollo 14 Astronaut Edgar Mitchell

I can keep going here. I urge some of you to look things up yourself.

There are also people who believe we didnt even go to the moon at all. That it was a hoax. They have some very interesting points though. Makes you think why we havent gone back in 38 years or so. Again I just find it interesting. Mythbusters then busted all of the claims, but its your choice who you believe.

Thats merely exactly what I believe in. All that I ask of people is to have an open mind and just think its possible. Sure I lean more towards some "conspiracies" being real but Im still not 100% sold. I just hate when people brush them off as nonsense because that is showing a closed mind. People who come into a thread with an agenda of trying to disprove something at all costs and never even gives them a chance.

People want 100% inconclusive evidence in order to believe in something, yet some of those same people live their lives following Jesus with no proof at all just because they were told that is the right thing to do. Basically what it comes down to is most people wont believe in something until the President says so.

And you're right this stuff is very interesting to look into. I didnt start getting into all this sh*t until the Science and Philosophy thread a few months ago. I honestly didnt care at all and most likely would still be brushing things off hadnt I looked at that thread. Something just clicked in me and Ive been hooked on this junk ever since. It is what it is. My final conclusion on crop circles is that alot of them are indeed man made today. They have become a tourist attraction of sorts. But there are a few of them that cannot be explained with ropes and boards. Some of them are still legit and seem way too complicated and perfect to be done in one night by a few people. They have been around for hundreds of years (even circlemakers admit there have been stories and admit they dont make all crop circles). They didnt just start in the 70s. Also there could be more now because alot of them are warnings for 2012, but who knows if those are manmade or alienmade. I am def open to the idea that they are all man made though, but when I watch the first video I posted in my OP I just cant believe that, while ignoring all of the witnesses and scientific anomalies that happen. But hey maybe people have just become so good at these things.

The thing is why havent there been videotapes of people making these crop circles at night? People dont believe they are aliens because there is no proof but then believe they are all manmade just because some guys said they did them? What makes you believe them? Anybody can come out and say they did this or that. Maybe Im missing something but Id love to watch a video of them making one, and not just any crop circle either. I want a big intricate detailed as sh*t one like the Alien face. You talk about proof well then I want proof myself. What about the ones who were unclaimed also? What people dont want to get in trouble? I thought farmers paid for this stuff to get money?

Again just more questions to consider.

I think its possible. You get enough people and put enough time into it you can make some very complicated shapes. I remember watching a show a long time ago where a bunch of dudes made crop circles that "scientists" didnt think we were possible. I mean at the end of the day they are just crop circles. Man has made a lot of amazing things. The pyramids, sky scrapers, planes, landed on the moon, the internet. I'm sure we can make some complicated crop circles....

I agree. There are a lot of things we do not know. Just because we can't explain something that doesnt mean its an alien, magic or something like that. More likely there's a scientific natural explanation. Like ages ago when people attributed the stars, sun, planets, to being Gods. When now we know how they form and a much better idea of what they are. Even today we dont even know everything about solar flares and even lightning. Until pretty recently we never knew that lightning travels upward. So its very possible there's other natural phenomenons that we dont know much about.

Its like a magician. Just because we can't explain it doesnt mean its magic. The laws of physics still applies. There's logical explanations for mostly everything

Yep that's it. I think it's a truly terrifying story. Science has a handful of explanations for it, but none of certain and the thing that makes it scary is that you can't predict something like that. People were just asleep and woke up suffocating because of the gas emission. You really don't have much chance in that case, you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

+1

The only thing to "believe" is reason and evidence. Alien crop circles and god are under the same umbrella for me. There is not concrete evidence against them. But everything we have points against them. So I am 99.99% sure crop circles are not from aliens and god isn't real. To believe otherwise is to go against all available evidence which is illogical to me

Its back!! More science news. A planet that is believed to be earthlike has been found, its like 120 trillion miles away so we will probably never get to find out in our lifetime for sure what type of life is on that planet, but here is the info:

AP) Astronomers say they have for the first time spotted a planet beyond our own in what is sometimes called the Goldilocks zone for life: Not too hot, not too cold. Juuuust right.

Not too far from its star, not too close. So it could contain liquid water. The planet itself is neither too big nor too small for the proper surface, gravity and atmosphere.

It's just right. Just like Earth.

"This really is the first Goldilocks planet," said co-discoverer R. Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution of Washington.

The new planet sits smack in the middle of what astronomers refer to as the habitable zone, unlike any of the nearly 500 other planets astronomers have found outside our solar system. And it is in our galactic neighborhood, suggesting that plenty of Earth-like planets circle other stars.

Finding a planet that could potentially support life is a major step toward answering the timeless question: Are we alone?

Scientists have jumped the gun before on proclaiming that planets outside our solar system were habitable only to have them turn out to be not quite so conducive to life. But this one is so clearly in the right zone that five outside astronomers told The Associated Press it seems to be the real thing.

"This is the first one I'm truly excited about," said Penn State University's Jim Kasting. He said this planet is a "pretty prime candidate" for harboring life.

Life on other planets doesn't mean E.T. Even a simple single-cell bacteria or the equivalent of shower mold would shake perceptions about the uniqueness of life on Earth.

But there are still many unanswered questions about this strange planet. It is about three times the mass of Earth, slightly larger in width and much closer to its star - 14 million miles away versus 93 million. It's so close to its version of the sun that it orbits every 37 days. And it doesn't rotate much, so one side is almost always bright, the other dark.

Temperatures can be as hot as 160 degrees or as frigid as 25 degrees below zero, but in between - in the land of constant sunrise - it would be "shirt-sleeve weather," said co-discoverer Steven Vogt of the University of California at Santa Cruz.

It's unknown whether water actually exists on the planet, and what kind of atmosphere it has. But because conditions are ideal for liquid water, and because there always seems to be life on Earth where there is water, Vogt believes "that chances for life on this planet are 100 percent."

The astronomers' findings are being published in Astrophysical Journal and were announced by the National Science Foundation on Wednesday.

The planet circles a star called Gliese 581. It's about 120 trillion miles away, so it would take several generations for a spaceship to get there. It may seem like a long distance, but in the scheme of the vast universe, this planet is "like right in our face, right next door to us," Vogt said in an interview.

That close proximity and the way it was found so early in astronomers' search for habitable planets hints to scientists that planets like Earth are probably not that rare.

Oh yeah, I read this. That is really exciting news.

The crazy thing about this is that its only been pretty recent where we have been able to look for planets in other solar systems and figure out if they could sustain life. Yet we constantly find planets that have maybe a remote possibility, or that we are still trying to verify if it can sustain life, and now we finally have confirmation of an earth-like planet.

Its like looking for a grain of sand shaped a certain way in a desert bigger then earth and finding it in the first handful. Makes you wonder just how many of them are out there?

Of course many scientists always believed there were many planets like this, but to actually find one is amazing. And this close. Its only 20 light years away. That is pretty close in the grand scheme of things

I've said it before, mathematically it's impossible to think there's not life in the universe or habitable planets at that.
