One of two very good articles by Amick. There are quotes from both Evans and Westphal about the Kings in general:

Very good read. Read it!

Most interesting thing about this is that we can expect dally to start for sure along with beno and tyreke. I didnt think that dally was an absolute obvious choice at the 5 but that's what it seems. The three and four are still open but i think westphal is high on landry by the way he talked about him last year and i expect omri at the 3.

"I'm 228 (pounds) now, and I was 220 when I was playing (last season). I like the size. It's nice for me to bully the guards around. I did it last year, but it's going to be even worse this year. I'll just have fun with it. (Now) I know how to do it. I'm used to it.
Hahaha, oh yeah, other PG's beware!!!

I don't think it is possible to be even a more mismatch than he already is!
Can't wait until season starts!

Tyreke is big enough, and there comes a point when you're sacrificing other things for adding size. Bibby was never the same after he bulked up. I'm sure Tyreke will be fine, but I hope he watches what he's doing to his body and weighs the pros and cons.

From what I seen, Evans did not lose any quickness or speed with the increased bulk. The thing about Bibby, he was already slow and adding bulk did not did any good for him.
I agree that Evans should be conscience about his body/weight (even though, he is doing that). Being 230 while keeping his quickness/speed is awesome.

It's not only his speed I'm worried about, but other things like his shooting. It could take a long time to get acclimated to your new strength. Bibby's main problem when he bulked up was that he lost his shooting touch, and he's never really gotten in back.

Re: Amick: Tyreke Evans and Paul Westphal on Sacramento's Future
Bibby was never the type to exert his size as a mismatch advantage towards his opponent though. If he would have or rather, could have, than by all means bulk up, but he didn't. Not to mention that Bibby is 6'1", while Tyreke is close to 6'6" with a near 7 foot wingspan. Oh, that and he already likes to physically beat down and punish his helpless defender.
