Cause the nets won 12 games last year?
Cause gallo was basically a rookie last year?
cause knick fans like voting for gallo? (I voted for gallo cause I didn't want to vote against him, but I also said it was a stupid comparison cause both guys have upside we haven't seen).

Lopez right now, but he's becoming one of the most overrated players without achieving anything significant.

Are Knicks fans even arguing this? smh it's not even close, it's like comparing Chris Bosh with Defence to Kyle Korver, Knicks fans should relax and let Gallo do something other then jacking up 7 3's a game.

Re: Danilo Gallinari vs. Brook Lopez
LOpez easy right?
Lopez as the 1st option averaged 19 and 8 in his 2nd full NBA season Gallo as the 4th option averaged 15 and 5 in his 1st HEALTHY season. And Gallo back is fine as you can see he played all the games last year. For the 1st time since he has been in he NBA Gallo has been able to get better in the off season. Also Gallo will most likely be the 2nd option on the Knicks this season behind Amare and if last year was any indication of what he could do as the 2nd option just look at the numbers he but up as the 2nd op towards the end of the season because of injurys to AL and Will..
And another thing when Gallo did play his 28 games his 1st season he played in pain and would have to go though a 8 hour workout(Ive heard) just to be able to play,he has a trenendous work ethic and a mean streak as Melo and KG would attest to.He would never be out of shape playing for his national team in Italy like the crap Lopez did to team USA.
So all the people who said Lopez easily watch Gallo by mid season next year because alot of people tunes are going to change as Lopezs numbers go down and Gallos go up.`

Not surprised Knicks wouldn't want to trade Gallo for Lopez. They didn't want to trade Channing Frye for KG either.

Oh, we're going to. And I am most definitely going to give a hardy laugh when the Nets are on pace for another below 20 win season so we can all recognize how hollow Brook's stats really are.

Just one thing, Knicks fans have absolutely no right to rag on the Nets. Ok, we had a historically bad season last year, winning 12 games. We preceded that by two seasons of 34 wins each. The last time the Knicks won 34+ games? The 03-04 season, when they won 39 games and got swept in the first round by none other than the Nets. Before the 34 win seasons, the Nets made the playoffs 6 straight years, including 2 Finals appearances, and they won 41+ games each year. The last time the Knicks won 41+ games was the 00-01 season. I don't know about you, but over a 9-year stretch, I would rather have 6 good to great seasons, two bad seasons, and 1 horrific season over 9 just plain bad seasons. And is winning 12 games really all that much worse than winning 23 games twice, which the Knicks did in 05-06 and 07-08? The Nets have been far superior to the Knicks this decade, so let's not cherry pick our worst season and try to insult the team, especially when your team has done nothing of relevance the past decade.

Not only did they talk about how much talent they have over us before the beginning of the season last year. They are still going on that they have better talent.Well guess what REALGM talent wins games and the 12 win Nets talent is overated just because they havent won anything besides almost getting the worse reacord in NBA history and they cant even do that right.Just because they were high draft picks doesnt mean there going to be superstars.Come talk to us when you grab yourself a franchise player. And no Lopez isnt one he isnt even an all-star,Lee is better then Lopez yeah 3 inches doesnt make that much of a difference. And Lee was no way considered a franchise player.

Oh please you dont want to compare Knick history to the second fiddle clippers yer Nets.
Because we had a bad run lately Knick fans still didnt jump ship to join the other 5 Net fans when Kidd was making the finals. And before we had this downdside which EVERY franchises go though we had a 15 year run before that.Where were the Nets?

I'm not arguing history, obviously the Knicks have more history. It's just ridiculous that you're gonna rag on our 12 win season when you're in the midst of missing the playoffs in 8 of the last 9 seasons (including 6 straight years), when you were swept by us in that one playoff appearance, and we've been more relevant than you have the past decade.

In Fryes first season under L.Brown Frye as a rookie was pretty impressive before he was injured towards the end of the season.Us Knick fans compared him(key word compared) to a Duncan lite. And before we traded him wanted to see what we had,by his second season we wanted him gone.

Since you know so much about history how come you never mention all the times we dominated the Nets?
And out of all the bad seasons we had we never were close to the record of the worse team in NBA history that your super talented team did.
And you are right you were more relevant but are still 2nd fiddle to the Knicks and will always be that way.

Re: Danilo Gallinari vs. Brook Lopez
Winning 23 games isn't all that much more impressive than winning 12 games. Basically, you just sucked less. The Knicks did that twice in the last 5 years. I never claimed the Nets>Knicks as a franchise or anything like that, but comparing what the Nets have done in recent years to the Knicks is no contest, the Nets by a mile.
And I really couldn't care less if the media and the fans think the Nets are 2nd fiddle, big whoop. You guys have been around a lot longer and play in NY...if we weren't 2nd fiddle, then something would be seriously wrong.
